Cosmopolitan hits all the right notes
SeanTrey (Morristown, New Jersey, United States) on Feb 03, 2023
The Cosmopolitan is an absolutely fabulous hotel. I was there on business but I could see returning with my wife. The place is beautiful and sexy. The Chandelier Bar is the place to meet and have a cocktail. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. My balcony on the 60th floor made me weak in the knees but that's a "me" problem. The food court has tons of options. The location is excellent. STK Steakhouse was excellent for a high-end meal. Waiting for a cab or an Uber is the only downside as this area of the property was not well-designed. Other than that, this IS the place to stay.
A hotel for "business", not really the place to stay for business travelers
roberteI955IT (Chicago, Illinois) on Feb 03, 2023
First time here. I understand its Vegas so I probably stayed at the wrong place to conduct business and relax in my room in the AM (with late checkout). The room next door was obnoxiously loud. I asked one of the staff members if the people were having a party -- they said "yes, its a bachelorette party?" If I was staying an additional day, I probably would have had security come up. I replied its rather difficult to use my room to relax a bit before my flights and have meetings. They offered to call security but with the caveat that they probably wont do anything. I didnt have time to hassle with waiting for security so I had to leave the room so I could get work done. Dont stay here if I know I need to relax in my room or get work done. For the Hotel: If you know there is going to be a loud party, why not put them near the end of the hall. I requested a late check out which was approved at check in to 2PM. But housekeeping still knocked on my door any way..
