Nice hotel in the midst of the strip

Nice hotel within walking distance of most everything on the strip. The common areas were spacious and every staff member from the desk to the restaurants was friendly and helpful. Was there with my wife for a conference. If you book through the conference you are likely going to get the worst rooms in the hotel. Poor view, smallest rooms and end of the hall. That seemed to be everyones experience that I spoke with, abit less than a dozen people. By that I mean views of the cooling units if you can even see out the windows due to the buildup that comes off the units. Our room was nothing special, but it was very clean and served the purpose. The bathroom was large. There was plenty of room for clothes, etc. Don't expect housekeeping unless you ask for it. We were there five nights. I saw plenty of housekeeping carts in the hallway, but not sure where they were going. We did get our room cleaned once and that was after speaking with a housekeeper in the hallway. She was very nice. When we did request clean towels they were brought up promptly as well. The swimming pools seemed small for such a large facility and being in Vegas. We did enjoy the pool each day. The 14th floor pool is the quieter of the two. That doesn't mean family friendly. The wait staff at the pool was very good. We enjoyed food at several of the restaurants and the service was good. Food was average to excellent. We also ate at the Wicked Spoon buffet. There were a lot of options and everything we had was well prepared. It does close at 2pm and that seemed a bit early, but they do call it a brunch buffet. The shops in the hotel were not as nice as the Bellagio or Ceasars for instance. It was free and easy to check in your bags if you arrive early. We were able to get into our room a couple hours early and was not charged anything extra. I felt the front desk staff was very helpful. Getting a taxi or an Uber/Lyft was very easy. I would overall say the hotel is four-star and certainly would stay again.
Cosmo is the best

After visiting Vegas in 2022 (stayed at the Encore/Wynn) we visited all the central hotels for shops/drinks & the Cosmopolitan really stood out. When we decided to return to Vegas, the Cosmopolitan was the only choice & it did not disappoint. We upgraded our room during the booking process to a terrace fountain view with Japanese soaking tub. I always use Tripadvisor to gain knowledge of the hotels as majority have a ‘party scene’ which is something myself & husband are not interested in. The Cosmopolitan has 2 Towers - Chelsea & Boulevard. The Chelsea tower is lively all day & all night nonstop due to a nightclub at that side of the building. Also the Chelsea Tower is set back/behind the Boulevard Tower so the views of the strip/fountain which I had paid for would not have been as good from that Tower. Upon check in, I asked for us to stay in the Boulevard Tower - this was granted. We were floor 32 & room 3296. This room was absolutely perfect for us & the only noise we heard for our 9 days stay was the sound of the Bellagio water fountains going off & muffled hussle & bussle of the strip. It was such a treat to be able to sit on the balcony watching the fountains & the world go by. The room is spacious with a living room / sofa area with a tv. Desk area. Mini bar fridge & an empty fridge for your own use (wallgreens & cvs are everywhere here so plenty of opportunity to grab any bits you may need). Large wardrobe (could have done with more hangers). Double vanity area in the bathroom with shower that lead to soaking tub which overlooked the fountains/strip. King size bed with another tv in that area, sliding door to close bedroom off from living area & then the spacious balcony with rattan sofa & chair. There was also a safe, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, robes. Rooms were cleaned everyday & fresh towels. (Side note, the robes were disgusting see images. That’s the only bad thing I have to say about the whole stay). The hotel is beyond central, which after staying at the Encore previously everything was miles away & we used Uber a lot. Perfect location! Would 100% recommend. Only downside to the hotel is the checkin process took 45minutes, there was a cisco convention & it was labour weekend coming up but no extra staff seemed to have been put in place to accommodate this.
