Outstanding venue. Great place to welcome in the New Year!!! The restaurants were awesome. Plenty of slot games to play!

Hotel stay was pleasant but unsatisfactory conditions of room. Drawer has missing drawer and room has missing refrigerator for refreshments and snacks

New York - New York Hotel & Casino was a great place to enjoy a New Years trip. Nice large King size rooms. Comfy bed and a large TV and bathroom. The NY-theme decor is fun. They honored our quiet room request with rooms far from the elevator and ice machines. Plus, one away from the roller coaster side. The front desk was nice at check in. Other staff tried to push us to check in using the automated system. But if you do that in the hotel or online before you arrive, you're assigned a room by random and they can't honor any requests like a human. New Years prices are expensive, but I got a MGM Rewards discount. The casino was nice too. Although the sports book isn't particularly nice. There's lots of restaurants on site and a couple of food courts. Il Fornaio and Gallager's offered great upscale meals. America was good for breakfast every day. I enjoyed the bars. Fun, but nothing special.

Overall an amazing experience and would highly recommend. All the restaurants were delicious. The coffee stand Greenwich inside the cobble stone area is so much better than the Starbucks and way better priced. The crepes place was absolutely amazing from the food to the staff it was a great experience.

We stayed at New York-New York Hotel & Casino in October, in a newly refurbished Premium Room, and were really happy with our stay. The room was exceptionally large, very clean, and felt modern. We had a great view of the rollercoaster with no noise. . For the price we paid, it felt like excellent value for money. The hotel itself is smaller and much more manageable than many of the mega-resorts on the Strip, which we actually appreciated. It does have its own pool, but this was closed for the season during our stay. However, we were able to use the MGM Grand pool complex, which is connected to the hotel, and this more than made up for it. The MGM pools were excellent — warm water, plenty of sunbeds, great service, and decent food options. Food choices within New York-New York are more limited than at some other Strip hotels, but perfectly fine for breakfast, with a Starbucks and two other early-opening options available. The location is very good, positioned right at the end of the main Strip action, with an easy walk to Bellagio, Paris, and The Cosmopolitan. Overall, a great stay and excellent value, and we would definitely stay here again.
