We love it here!

Always have a great time here and this trip was no exception! We had great service, a great room with a wonderful view, fun gambling, and really great food experiences. Will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer when the pools are open!

Very disappointed with room, it was very dark. The rolling chair at the desk was missing a wheel so not balanced, the cleaning staff should have notified maintenance, they had to know it was broken because it did not roll properly. Not a single USB port to charge devices, if you don't have the plug you are out of luck. Bathroom was very dark and shower head was dirty with very little pressure. Terrible soap, very dry with little lather...unfortunately I usually bring my own but forgot it. Staff were all very friendly and restaurants were good. Great steak at Gallaghers

SAD EXPERIENCE!!

UNFORTUNATELY, SAD EXPERIENCE! ROOM WAS NEAR ROLLER COASTER AND WAS VERY LOUD, COULD HEAR RIDER'S SCREAMING. AWAKENED BY LOUD RIVETING OUTSIDE ROOM AS THEY WORKED ON COASTER. ROOM DIDN'T GET CLEANED FIRST NIGHT. HAD TO CALL FOR THAT TO GET DONE. HOUSEKEEPING ASKED IF WE STILL WANTED IT CLEANED?? REALLY?????? THEY SENT SOMEONE WHO DID A VERY BASIC CLEANING THAT WAS CERTAINLY NOT A NORMAL CLEANING! FOOD COMP'S WE RECEIVED DID NOT WORK, AND EMPLOYEES LIED TO US THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. MANAGMENT INFORMED US OTHERWISE!! TRIED TO USE MY PLAYERS CARD TO PAY FOR A MEAL SINCE WE HAD PLEANTY OF POINTS TO USE. PERSON WORKING THE REGISTER AT THE RESTAURANT HAD NO CLUE HOW TO PROCESS MY REQUEST, TELLING ME I NEEDED TO PAY WITH ANOTHER FORM OF PAYMENT. THAT MEANS THAT WE SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED OUR MEALS WITHOUT COST AT BOTH RESTAUARANTS, YET WE HAD TO USE OUR CREDIT CARD TO PAY AT EACH OF THEM. WHEN WE DID GET TO DEAL WITH SOMEONE TO HAVE THE ISSUE ADDRESSED, WE WERE INFORMED THAT COULD NOT GIVE US THE CASH MONEY. STRANGE, BECAUSE WE HAD TO PAY WITH MONEY, BUT WE COULDN'T GET REFUNDED THE MONEY WE HAD SPENT?????? GIVEN WRONG DIRECTIONS BY HOTEL REGISTRATION, TOOK FIVE OTHER EMPLOYEES TO HELP US JUST GET TO THE CORRECT ELEVATORS SO WE COULD GO TO OUR ROOM. SOME OF THESE ISSUES WERE HANDLED, BUT WE HAD TO SPEND OUR VACATION GETTING THEM STRAIGHTENED OUT. EMPLOYEES WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR US TO TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUES, SO WE HAD TO KEEP SPENDING MORE AND MORE TIME TRYING TO GET THESE ISSUES HANDLED. SOME OF THE ISSUES LITERALLY TOOK DAYS TO GET HANDLED AS NO EMPLOYEES WERE AVAILABLE. WE DID NOT GET TO ENJOY OUR TIME, NOR DID WE GET TO RELAX DURING OUR STAY OUT THERE NEARLY AS MUCH AS WE WOULD HAVE LIKED, BECAUSE WE WERE CONSTANTLY DEALING WITH ISSUE AFTER ISSUE. WE HAD STAYED AT THE HOTEL SOME YEARS AGO AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE, UNFORTUNATELY THIS TRIP WAS NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL.

Wonderful Experience

The NYNY Hotel is fabulous. 2nd time here. Stayed for 5 days. Only issue was the shower water all 5 evenings was only lukewarm -- and I would have enjoyed hot showers at the end of the tiring days. Construction noise was there even though front desk said it was happening a few floors up and we would not hear anything. But like I said, it's a fabulous hotel to stay at.

No coffee maker or fridge in the room. $35 a night resort charge. The 32 oz room service coffee is $36 with all the fees not $20 as listed in the menu. They are really sticking it to the guests in the effort to keep you out of your room.
