I like to play at NY NY because of the slot machines they have and the friendly attentive slot attendants especially the new one Geraldine M. she was wonderful!!! But the cocktail service during the grave yard shift is THE WORST I was at the same machine at area 234 by the rewards and cashier end no cocktail server came by for over 3 hours !!!
Housekeeping and rooms have gone downhill

I think New York New York has gone down hill. During this visit, we experienced dirty sheets on both beds, unraveling towels with long threads hanging from them, and a smokey casino. I don't plan to ever stay here again.
What are you paying for besides location?

One thing I will give NYNY a 10 on is the location — I really do love it. The room itself was somewhat comfortable, but there was a lingering smell of smoke that never fully went away. On top of that, you can’t lower the thermostat below 67 degrees, so it was difficult to keep the air circulating. Everything here is completely self-serve: check-in, check-out, printing room keys, even retrieving your bags if they’ve been stored. If you’re looking for actual staff interaction, this definitely isn’t the place. My biggest frustration is the resort fee — as I’m sure it is for most people. While it’s one of the lower fees on the Strip, it still ends up costing almost as much as the nightly room rate. And what it “covers” feels outdated or unnecessary: using the in-room phone (who still does that?), printing boarding passes, the fitness center (walking the Strip is already a workout), the pool (in the winter?), and digital newspapers or magazines (we all have our phones). I was told it included in-room amenities, but there really aren’t any. No refrigerator (major disappointment), no bottled water, no clock, no pen or paper. To their credit, the Wi-Fi was decent — but essentially you’re paying a resort fee each night just for internet access, and you’re barely in the room to use it.
Good hotel overall nut noisy room

Hotel and surrounding area had lots of things to see, do, eat, and drink. Prices were higher than expected. Our room was big but noisy (noise from the room next door and from the roller coaster).
Feel myself scammed

I stayed at this hotel for one night. We arrived tired around 9 PM, only to find that our room hadn’t been cleaned. We had to walk all the way back to the front desk to request a different room. The staff apologized and gave us another room, and they also offered an on-property credit. I had to ask several times where exactly this credit could be used, and they assured me it was valid throughout the hotel. The next morning, when we were leaving very early, it turned out the credit was almost not accepted anywhere — and we hadn’t actually been given it at all. We only received it after going back to clarify again, but by that time we were already checking out, so it was essentially useless. In the end, we even had to pay for our own coffee. Overall, this was a disappointing experience for a short stay.
