Love Granada and the staff!

Drew N on Jan 07, 2026

I had a great time at Granada, it’s close to the golf course and the ocean and a few steps away from many restaurants at the resort. The rooms are a bit older but they are very well looked after and all the staff at Granada are fantastic! The breakfast buffet is fresh and well looked after and the omelette egg bar is excellent as well. I especially loved the French toast and fresh fruit every morning with my coffee on the patio. Another great thing about Granada is it’s less busy than across the street and very quiet.

Another Time,Another Resort ala next door.

Hola people I stayed here from Saturday December 20 until Monday December 29 2025.Check in took a wee bit of time no complaints though since I was muchas gracias to get a complimentary=free Highest Level Red Bracelet that allowed me to access all four Resorts with no charge instead of just two.Room 3024 on the highest level was a spacious Room that had a Toilet & Shower ??+ all my necessary requirements Digital Room Safe,a bigger Bar Safe & a 50 TV that I didn't use because I couldn't stream Content from my Android phone on YouTube etc.I liked The Swimming Pool,Staff etc because it's a bit quieter than The livelier El Castilla.I had Argentine Ala Carte at The Grenada a Steak that was Delicious with another Meat Sandwich that was very good.Any negatives? None The Hotel Main Lobby is on The First Floor so if you want to bypass it use The Second Level connecting pedestrian causeway/overpass to walk over to The El Castilla you can.Next question would I give this First established El Cid Resort a passing Grade..si B++.Here's the thing I liked that but I also spent spent a little time at The El Cid Marina the most Modern of the 4 different of The four that is so nice in its layout.Yes it isn't in The Golden Zone like The Bunched Together/ connected El Cid Grenada, Castilla& Moro but with a transport Shuttle & a 15 to 20 minute free ride I might be tempted to stay there on my next stay in Mazatlan whenever that may be.Thanks again for a great experience..adios por ahora Alistair B.????
