Love this El Cid resort. So much variety in pools, restaurants and hotels with different atmospheres. We really like staying at the Granada because of it's quite, laid back atmosphere and great staff. All the El Cid staff is so friendly and helpful. They really make you feel welcome and make your stay special. Thank you Granada staff - the hotel manager, Laura, Miguel (at front desk), Edna, Victor, Estephaney, Nelle, Julio and Lilly around the pool and El Patio. At the spa - Jairo and Salvador.. Mexican restaurant - the manager & Caesar. Adult pool - Martin, La Concha - Danielle. We;ll be back to El Cid in early 2022 to see you all again.

The staff at the resort is so attentive to any need, remembering what you drink including type of wine, what you like to eat and preferences. It was like having your own personal staff at each site throughout the resort. We spent two wonderful weeks enjoying the pools, restaurants and spa. I felt pampered not only at the spa, but also around the pool and restaurants. The staff are so personable and by the end of our stay they felt like friends that I enjoyed seeing each day. Our stay started with a Cat 1 hurricane which quickly turned into a tropical storm and the staff was excellent. The hotel was amazing on making sure we knew the progression of the storm and turned it into more of a welcomed adventure that we hadn't experienced being from the Midwest. Great bands in the Castilla lounge, wonderful buffet at LaPergola. During these Covid times, I never had a concern and was entirely confident that I was going home as healthy as when I arrived.
