Everything in our vacations was perfect. Great Hotel, beautiful Beach, very kind staff, delicious food. If you need good Gym advice ask Fernando in the Hotel Gym. He is a good Coach and kindly helped us with many other questions.

Terrible food. Please avoid staying at this hotel unless they fully revise feeding approach of the guests. I have never stayed anywhere over the world in a place with worse food. Chef doesn't know how to cook. I could cook better and more tasty food from the same ingredients he had. We were 3 families for a 1 week holidays. Half of our relatives had stomach issues... I am attaching a screen shot of my review on booking as well.

First off, great service (room, food, Fiesta, employees) the food is delicious. Varies of activities for adults and kids. Vivito's club is a 10/10 for children. Many activities planned. Here are the vivito's club members; Marilu, Janet, Sehem, Emiliano, Julia and more. They always wear smiles, even when kids are hyperexcited. From Azteca you have access to the hotel Maya. It offers great activities like; trapèze, catamaran and more! Azteca is more relaxed with less People. They offer the best kids show at 20h30 and the most AMAZING adulte shows everyday at 21h30. DO NOT MISS THIS HOTEL NO REGRETS. YOU WILL LOVE IT. THANK YOU FOR MY AMAZING STAYING AT THIS HOTEL AZTECA AND TO THE TEAM!

It was my trip to Mexico #4 and the worst one. Dated rooms, cement corridors, tasteless food, unhappy staff, small pool, the list is endless. The online reservation got messed up from the very beginning. I have been attacked by numerous calls and emails from Dominican Republic insisting to confirm my credit card details by email (!) and threatening with cancelling my reservation. It took me about 10 complaining emails to sort it out as I thought these were scammers. The hotel looked ugly with plastic Christmas decorations and inflatables from 90’s. The buffet food was horrible. The variety was huge but nothing you could eat in a restaurant - overcooked and not looking nicely. Food labels didn’t match the food (be on alert if you have an allergy) The staff was not wearing gloves. My family members got food poisoning and spent few days in the room, which didn’t improve the experience. The live music was good. The shows in the theater with white plastic chairs were very low level. The pool was tiny with no fun for kids or at least one slide. Concierge was pushing to buy their membership. The best thing in this resort was the beach, which saved my long awaited holidays with family. And the housekeeping really did their best and cleaned the dated rooms nicely. I understand that this hotel is cheaper than others, but it is clearly not a 4*, and even cheaper hotels offer better food and service. I didn’t expect luxury, but at least certain level of quality. I felt sorry for the staff who were forced to wear faux fur Santa hats in the heat. I felt sorry for so much food waste. And for all the people who saved money for their vacations and received this kind of service. I counted my days to go back home. Never ever again will i come back.

This is a resort that I never want to go back! The only good thing in this resort was the taste of their food, other than that it was a horrible experience. They are abusing “sustainability” as an excuse for low quality service. I could understand use of purified water stations to eliminate plastic bottles, however, I dont understand limiting one beach towel per day! Even if it was raining and your beach towel was soaked in water, they were refusing to replace then. Also good luck finding paper towel or facials tissue, if you are sneezing, you have to use toilet papers! The bathroom was terrible, no one would clean the glass wall that separates shower from the washroom was never cleaned! It was full if stain, and no one cared to clean them. Although the food was tasty, I have to mention, my wife and I both got a terrible Diarrhea when we tried the salads in the restaurant!
