Safe resort a lot of fun activities for teens and adults. Karla, Ixel, Andre, Alejandro and the entertainment team are so fun! Gracias!!! Great location - safe walk to the market and other viva hotel. Pool is beautiful. Food is fine but not the best. Staff is very kind and works so hard!

The food is divine and we received fabulous service by Manuel and Jesus who was extremely attentive to our needs. They are both assets to the company.
Margaritas very bad!

On the positive side one of the cleanest resorts I have ever stayed at. The staff are non stop cleaning. The food is above average , with lots of variety . The staff are excellent, very professional and friendly. The negatives are as follows , rooms are small and the majority only have balconies big enough to stand on. There isn't anywhere to dry beach clothes. Finally, the margaritas are maybe the worst I have had anywhere on planet earth. When coming to the motherland you expect a decent margarita, but they use a lime concentrate and cheap tequila.
Great resort ,especially for fitness activities and buffet.

We would give this 5 except for the balcony problem. We come from cold Canada and like to sit on our balcony in the sun. The balconies are tiny so have no chairs .We changed to a ground floor patio with chairs and a table but they are mostly shady. If you don’t care about this, this hotel is wonderful. Food. The buffet was exceptional so we didn’t try a restaurant.Pleasant outside eating area by a courtyard.Theme nights.Self serve fountain, beer and wine or ask a waiter.Get Edy if you can; he will look after you really well. Also a small buffet near pool bar, open long hours and late. Drinks.Coffee machine in room.Only soft drinks in fridge.Water self serve from machines in corridors.A pitcher in each room.Coffee shop 9 to 5 with juices, smoothies etc and baked goods.Coffee also at bars . Smoking. No smoking policy excellent, never smelled a cigarette. Sun beds.Hard to get in the sun by the pool, but PLENTY on the large beach in sun or shade .Beach.Soft white sand, don’t need water shoes.Walk both ways for miles.15 minutes to sister hotel Viva Maya.Seaweed well controlled,no problem swimming. No snorkeling but kayaks.SUPs ,boogie boards and catamarans all free. The guys working here are really helpful with launching and returning through surf. Activities.PLENTY.Short,only 30 mins.Yoga/stretching,aquafit,dance lessons, fitness classes, cooking classes.Check App.All good. Music.Nightly in lobby. Some danceable. Shows.Nightly 9.30.Mexican folkloric show preceded by mariachis and mexican food in courtyard. Cleanliness.Impeccable.No litter anywhere. Wildlife.Lots of aguties and coatis.Sea birds at beach . Money.difficult to get 50 peso bills changed into 20s for tipping. The bartenders helped us out with this. Staff.99% friendly and helpful.our maid Anita did everything we asked. Overall a great resort where we were made very welcome but won’t return due to balconies.
