We enjoyed our time very much. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was nice and clean but in need of some minor repairs on the floor drain. The shower was good and quite roomy. Water pressure was good. Lots of hot water. Ixtapa is easy to navigate and is very clean and tidy. There was no trash anywhere and it was well looked after. Our waiter at the pool and beach Alfonso was excellent. Very friendly and looked after us. A security member assited my wife when she fell. He rendered first aid immediately and applied a salve to her knee. We felt very safe and looked after in all areas of the resort. The noise levels were ok. the shows normally shut down at 10 pm. However a wedding was held and it moved from the beach to a grassy area, where it got quite loud until midnight. We did not get to sleep until after that was complete. Not Cool! We loved the location of the resort and the food was good in all areas. We liked the de cor in Bogarts. We were disappointed about the lack of a small fridge in our room. We discovered that there was very little english spoken. We did expect some language barriers but this was very evident. Some staff did not understand even one word in english. We tried our best in our limited Spanish or had to track another staff member down. That was not always successful. We enjoyed the fact that the resort is non smoking. However some folks decided to smoke on the pool deck.

We were upgraded from a garden room to a suite by the reception. Very nice room, comfortable beds, a/c worked fine great ocean views. Smaller resort so everything convenient for walking. Allowed ala carte every night, easy to book. Bogarts and the Mexican ala cartes were excellent. There is an Asian ala carte that has sushi, poke bowls, and ramen soup. First time in 14 trips to all inclusives that I wasn't impressed with the buffets. Hot food was usually cold and somehow the atmosphere wasn't inviting. Palapas on the beach with lounge chairs and wooden chairs. Beautiful Very long and wide beach. Ocean water is warm. Massage huts at end of beach $400 pesos. Pool is crowded with all the families/kids. Definitely a very popular destination for Mexican families to vacation so if you're Caucasian you're very obviously the minority. No problem with that but just take note that also meant everything signage, entertainment etc is all in Spanish. Found it very humid and hot like Huatulco. Bottom line-if you're looking for an inexpensive vacation and can get a package under $2k cdn then I'd book. If it's more than that $$ I'd not book this hotel.

Fernando was very helpful and nice, we had fun on the bike ride that he toured us on. I would love to return. The trip was overall very fun and the rooms were nice, the beach was in a convenient place. Loved it

Wonderful having so much fun the disco is awesome love watching Ignacio and Rosita it’s just amazing being here with my family. Thank you for the experience . Will never forget this trip to Krystal Ixtapa. Already planning my next trip out here
