This resort is amazing! It has such beautiful grounds with penguins, parrots, swans, and ducks! Pickleball, good food, and many fun pools, especially for kids! Whale watching right from the hotel!

Perfect upscale experience

A stunning atmosphere with delicious food & restaurant choices. Everything was spot on for our 3 night stay. Highly recommend the Luau!! Couldn't complain about anything except how large the resort is, and it is a lot of walking from one end to the other at our age (over 70). Ocean front rooms guarantee whale sightings!

Happy Vacay!

Great atmosphere, service, rooms were updated (recommend upgrading to a suite). Views were amazing. Food was mostly great! Albeit expensive, but you know that going into it. We were seriously happy with our stay! so many fun things for the kiddos to do. And enough things for adults to do too.

Another (mostly) Great Experience

This is our fourth time staying at this property, located in the northern resort corridor in Maui. Upon arrival this time, the power to the entire corridor was out due to the county shutting it off because of high winds. They apparently still have not buried the power lines, even after the Lahaina tragedy. The staff did their best to accommodate, Karen at the front desk was amazing, but it was still a huge inconvenience. All shops were closed, you couldn’t get towels due to the machines that distribute not having towels, and the AC was out in all rooms. Luckily, the power came back on before nightfall, avoiding avoiding turning this into a trip ruining inconvenience. Aside from that, the hotel was once again excellent. The oceanfront rooms are beyond compare. The club level breakfast and snacks throughout the day are an amazing perk. The pool is situated so you can lounge and watch the whales breech in the ocean. We ate at the steakhouse this time and while pricey, it was delicious. I would highly recommend this property if you are staying on Maui.
