Great hotel and lovely Christmas decorations!
YKT231 (Milton Keynes, United Kingdom) on Feb 21, 2026
We went the week before Christmas and the decorations in the lobby were awesome. It really got us excited for the holdiays! The staff were nice enough when we did interact with them and the rooms were decent. They were a good size and were clean and tidy. It's really handy having the 24/7 patisserie on property so you can grab a gelato, pastry or iced latte at 3am! The line can get long at peak times but it went quick. The casino itself isn't my favourite but it's ok. Overall the resort has a nice feel to it and it is in a great spot on the strip. You can walk inside to Park MGM to access that hotel and NYNY/T-Mobile arena. You can also easily walk through to Cosmo. Highly recommend!
Needs update!
Jennifer S (Houston, Texas) on Feb 21, 2026
I recently stayed at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and what a disappointing experience it was for a property that markets itself as luxury. From the moment we checked in, it felt like a cash grab rather than genuine hospitality, especially with a young child in tow. The room itself looked nice at first glance, but the carpet was in terrible shape—pulled up, rippled, and clearly worn out in multiple spots. It made the whole place feel neglected and cheap despite the high room rates. The in-room safe by the nightstand was another joke. It kept sliding out of place every time you opened or closed it, and there were obvious tape marks from previous attempts to “fix” it. Clearly, this has been an ongoing issue that management hasn’t bothered to properly resolve. The pool situation was frustrating. It’s only open from 10 AM to 5 PM, which is ridiculously limited for a Vegas resort. To get there, you have to walk through the mezzanine in your swimsuit, and they strictly won’t let you take pool towels back to your room. So you’re forced to parade around the public areas dripping wet just to return to your room. Not family-friendly or convenient at all. No in-room coffee machine either—another basic amenity missing. You have to trek down to the mezzanine every morning for coffee, which adds up quickly when you’re traveling with a little one. The pricing is outright predatory. Everything is marked up 30-50% or more. A simple bottle of Smartwater in the room was $18—absurd. Worse, they don’t clearly disclose that even the water bottles sitting on the counter (not just the minibar) are on scale sensors. If you so much as touch or move them, it triggers a charge. We had a toddler, so we moved the water and some snacks to a higher shelf out of reach. They charged us once. Then housekeeping (they were nice) put everything back on the scale during turndown, and it charged again. By checkout, we’d racked up nearly $500 in “charges” for items we never consumed or even used—just touched or relocated When we disputed it at checkout (with photos showing the items untouched), they refused to remove the charges on the spot. Instead, they said the minibar staff would “review” it… in 2 days. We left without resolution, and five days later, we’re still waiting for the refund to hit our credit card. Unacceptable for a high-end hotel. This place looks impressive from the outside, but the maintenance issues, inconvenient policies, sneaky charges, and poor customer service left us feeling ripped off. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend it—especially not to families.
