Ticketing Agent
Jen2aT (Downers Grove, United States) on Feb 20, 2026
Just wanted to give a shout out to Alex P in ticketing. On Sat Feb 14th, we were having issues ordering tickets online to see Mad Apple Cirque. We were also having trouble navigating how to get there when we got off the monorail. After much frustration, we went to the ticketing counter and found Alex P to be extraordinarily helpful. He took the time to help book us the exact seats we wanted. He also give us great directions on where to go and provided suggestions of things to do nearby while we were waiting for our show to start. His ability to listen to our needs and assist, went up and beyond what we expected from a ticket agent. He is truly an asset to the MGM brand!

MGM BOX OFFICE: Ben Norman was incredibly helpful in resolving an issue with my canceled reservation. He assisted me in securing a refund for the original booking and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He was courteous, professional, and truly went above and beyond. I’m very grateful for his assistance; excellent customer service experience! Thank you, Ben!

Solid Las Vegas Hotel

I've stayed at the MGM Grand a few times but this is my first time since their complete renovation of all their rooms in the main towers in 2025. The rooms were in need of a refresh as the old styling was getting long in the tooth. The layout of the rooms haven't changed but there's some changed to the furniture. I stayed in a standing 2 Queen room, which had a North facing view, so I could see Planet Hollywood, Virgin Hotel Las Vegas from my window. The room was clean and nicely updated, there's also no a dedicated mini fridge for guest use in addition to the mini bar. In the bathroom, the mirror has been upgraded to a newer one with a LED light around it. The shower is no longer a tub, it has a glass door. One downside of the shower is that there's no shelf to place your own shampoo and body wash. Even though I brought travel size, I put my bottles on top of the hotel provided body wash and shampoo dispensers that are attached to the shower wall. The shower head hasn't been changed that much, it's still a regular one, it would have been nice to see a larger head and maybe a handheld attachment put in that same other hotels on the strip have. The toilet in the bathroom is still the same and theres no fans in the bathroom. Another thing to note is that you can sometimes hear other guests when in the bathroom through the vents. The beds in the room are very comfortable, which is great for after a long day in Vegas. There's also a nice seating area with a table by the window. One thing to note is that with the reno, the room no longer has a proper desk, you'll have to rely on the table and chairs. Replacing where the desk was in the old room in a bench seat which is fine. There's also a decent amount of USB ports near outlets in the room, although some of the actual plugs are too close to each other that it can be an issue to plug in larger wall adapters, especially for the bedside outlets. Overall, with the newly renovated rooms, the MGM Grand is a solid place to stay in Vegas. There's almost always a room available. And like most casinos, the property is huge and can sometimes be a long walk from the elevators to your room or even from your room to the rideshare pickup area
