This property really needs an update

So many beautiful hotels in Las Vegas. Sadly, this one has not aged well. In all areas, this hotel is in great need of an update. The hotel rooms are very outdated, musty, old. This used to be a nice hotel.

We have been staying at many hotels lately touring the south west and had a great check in here. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Pleasant welcome. It’s Las Vegas so we didn’t have super high hopes but everything exceeded our expectations

Fantastic Stay Sept. 21-24

I sent an email to the MGM desk as well, but I believe the email system is still down due to the "cyberattack" and I want to make sure this rave gets out into the world! I just returned from a stay at MGM Grand from September 21 through September 24. After all the news coverage about the "hack", I was nervous it would negatively impact my 40th birthday celebration, but it was quite the opposite. I found every staff member that I encountered to be extra helpful and positive to offset any inconveniences caused by the impact to technology. I sincerely hope that everyone working on the front lines over the last two weeks is given extra compensation and recognition, because they are doing a tremendous job. While every staff member we interacted with was pleasant, there were a few who I wanted to recognize specifically. On Friday, September 22, my friend and I had a wonderful afternoon at daybed 33 near the lazy river. I had previously reserved a daybed during a June visit and unfortunately there were a few negative issues during that experience. As a result, I reached out to pool management and spoke to Ben who promised to make sure our next visit in September, which we had already booked, went more smoothly. It definitely did. Our server, John, was fun and attentive. The service was fantastic, and we even received a very special birthday treat as a surprise. Jason, the F&B manager at the pool, also checked on us during our visit to make sure everything met our expectations. Huge thanks to both John and Jason for creating a relaxing and memorable poolside experience for my birthday weekend. I also wanted to give kudos to Larry and Kevin who were both dealing Face-Up Pai Gow Poker the night/early morning of Saturday, September 23/24. They were very funny and pleasant, which made it almost enjoyable to part with my money. ?? I can't wait to start planning my next visit!

First Rate Welcome at Rewards Desk

Just taking a moment to thank and express our appreciation for the woman who welcomed us at the Rewards Desk. GABRIELA BUENO was sparkling and helpful, kind and funny. You could not ask for a better representative and she left a warm and wonderful impression on my husband and me. ??????

Worst Stay of my life.

I was a guest at the MGM Grand during thier "Cyber Security" event. No internet, no TV service in the room, no folio receipt available on checkout. as of today 9/26 MGM Grand cannot give me a receipt. Thier "Guest Specialist" are of no help, and actually got angry with me because they are hopeless and helpless. Do not stay here. I know I wont be staying at any MGM resort in the future. This waas the worst experience I have ever had a hotel.
