Meh, would stay elsewhere

Rooms were clean and updated, no complaints there. Dining options were limited and disappointing. Pool was a nightmare to get to. Would not stay here again.
Superb location to explore!

Stayed for a boys gambling trip in March. Location and room perfect. Monorail and concessions within the hotel amazing. Casino aspect very good, cash poker excellent and some great incentives if signing upto the rewards scheme. Only negatives were the prices (expected), queues at Starbucks etc and the pool closing on the dot at 5pm. No lazy river open (out of season) and no scope to sunbathe anywhere from 5pm to 6pm which was often best part of the day but they want you back inside and spending money. Remember to cater for the resort tax, ours was $220 for four nights and a room deposit of $500.
Not bad but not great either

Visited Vegas for a conference and chose to stay at mgm grand. It’s a dated property and we were in one of the yet to be renovated rooms which resembled more of a motel than a hotel. Will give it pros the king bed was very comfortable. Next time if you can afford it spend the extra for the park mgm across the road much nicer.
Terrible customer service

First time staying at this hotel and it has been a terrible experience. We called ahead of our arrival and explained we would like two rooms together since we were travelling with our teenagers. We were told they can’t guarantee it. We asked again when we arrived at check in. They said nothing was available (5000 rooms and nothing close together?) One of the rooms has a terrible smell. We again asked the next morning with no help. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an enjoyable vacation.
A lot going on here

Room was very nice. Clean and spacious, with a great view. Staff excellent. Pools were open, with a lot of areas to hang out and relax, weather beautiful temp in 90's. Lazy river not open yet. Casino had a lot of games and was spread out. Great fun atmosphere, lots of energy. Monorail a Great way to go down the strip! Walkway over to New York, N.Y. This was a great location, and close to airport. CVS+ Walgreens nearby for little supplies.
