Room was very nice. Clean and spacious, with a great view. Staff excellent. Pools were open, with a lot of areas to hang out and relax, weather beautiful temp in 90's. Lazy river not open yet. Casino had a lot of games and was spread out. Great fun atmosphere, lots of energy. Monorail a Great way to go down the strip! Walkway over to New York, N.Y. This was a great location, and close to airport. CVS+ Walgreens nearby for little supplies.
Worst stay in Vegas ever....
Ms C on Mar 26, 2026
Stayed at MGM Grand Las Vegas and had a disappointing experience that required multiple follow-ups just to address basic issues. At check-in, I never received the expected text notification, which forced me to go back to the front desk to resolve it. Once in the suite, there were several maintenance problems: the TV in one of the bedrooms did not work, and there was a leaking toilet in another bedroom. On top of that, both the Wi-Fi and TV service went down during the stay, which made it difficult to relax or get anything done. Also, the robes, slippers and towels were rather harsh and scratchy - very disappointing and unappealing Another concern was seeing two individuals sleeping on sofas in the hallway near the penthouse suite area. This raised questions about security and overall management of the property. Additionally, we called for bellhop assistance and were told it would take about 10 minutes. After waiting 25 minutes with no arrival, we ended up having to transport our luggage ourselves, including assisting someone using a cane. This was especially frustrating and not what you would expect from a property of this level. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, especially given the level MGM Grand typically promotes. Multiple issues combined with the need to repeatedly follow up with staff made the experience frustrating. Improvements in maintenance response, communication, and security oversight are clearly needed. Thousand of dollars could her been better spent at another facility. Very disappointed!
What Does Resort Fee Give You?

Only 2 of 4 pools open and no lounge chairs available. Only reason was MGM didn't want to pay people to staff them. Instead people laying on the ground. Even in walkways. Handicap access only available if you want to step over people.

Amazing place to stay!

I have been to Vegas many times but this trip by far was the best. I stayed at the MGM Grand about 20 years ago and the upgrades that have occurred are amazing. Compared to every other resort in Vegas that I have stayed at, this has been the best yet. At check-in, we were complimentary upgraded to a full suite. These suites were just renovated in Nov 2025. The room still smelled new! When you walk into the room, you have the first of 3 bathrooms in the suite. The suite had a bar area and a granite topped table that seats 6. The room also had a full sectional couch and a shuffleboard table. The second bathroom was a full bathroom with a Kohler bathtub that could accommodate two people and had a tray table that had lotions, soaps, massage roller, and bath brush. The bedroom had a California King bed that was so comfortable, we felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The third bathroom had a walk-in shower that could fit 6 people if you wanted. The hotel has a 6.5 acre pool area with a lazy river as part of it. The hotel also has several restaurants and food services. There is a large arcade for kids in the main casino area and several other services such has spas and shopping, and of course plenty of gambling areas. I would highly recommend this place if you want to feel pampered without having to pay a small fortune!
