Outstanding service, lovely location, friendly and safe.

We have had an amazing time here at El Cid. Everybody has been so friendly and welcoming. It's a very family type atmosphere here. We love the heated pool and all the activities around the pool put on by the fabulous activities team are great. Are room has an amazing view of the pool and harbour. The food is outstanding and we have been able to use all the amenities at all the resorts. We would highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed every minute of our Month here! We flew using a direct flight on Westjet from Edmonton, they picked us up and took us to the resort. From that point on the service and friendliness of the staff has been top notch! We really enjoy the food at the restaurants, one can go to the other ElCid resorts here to eat, or hang around at the pools! We especially liked the staff at the Calipso pool. The waiters are amazing, and the activity staff make sure you have something to do. I would like to mention that Dante and Isys were particularly welcoming and enjoyable to play games with them. The rooms are very comfortable, the Concierge staff are also amazing at getting tours and other activities arranged for you.

There are too many good things to say about this resort so I'll do my best. Check in was extremely smooth and efficient. Everything was explained well. We were assisted to our room by a very friendly and knowledgeable bellman who made sure we had everything we needed. The resort is laid out beautifully with walking paths from one end to the other. It takes less than 10 minutes to stroll but they also have golf carts if you'd like a ride. The view of the marina is gorgeous! The rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. There are 2 pools. One heated and one not. Each have their own bar and snack bar with incredibly good food and even better service. There's a hot tub and a couple of slides for both big and little as well as zero entry. The entertainment crew is awesome! They have bingo, darts, crafts, Spanish lessons, water volleyball, aquasize and more. The team is super friendly and encouraging without being pushy. They have a private beach just a short water taxi ride across marina (2 minutes) that has a lot of loungers, palapas and it's own bar/snack bar. During low tide you can walk for miles. The staff in every part of the resort are very mindful of not just their particular job but of the areas surrounding them. They take the time to visit with guests and truly care about them. The food is some of the best we've had. There are 2 restaurants. One is buffet with a menu option, the other is buffet at breakfast and a la carte in evening. We ate at buffet as the taste, choices and ambiance was exceptional. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this resort.
