Beautiful Disney friendly property without the mouse

beckys955 (Crozet, Virginia) on Feb 12, 2026

The Swan Reserve is a lovely hotel. While staying on Disney owned properties probably provides the best overall park experience, for Marriott owners the Swan Reserve and sister properties is a close second. The hotel is walking distance to Epcot and qualifies you for early park entry. The hotel is modern, bright and upscale. They were able to accommodate my request for nearby rooms which was helpful since we were babysitting our granddaughter. We had Epcot view rooms and delighted in watching 3 fireworks shows from our bed! I was very happy with the rooms. Across the street, you have access to a playground, “beach”, restaurant and other activities. The Disney boardwalk is a short walk further and has more dining options. You can take Disney busses and ferries from there. We had been staying at Grande Vista but took one night at the Swan Reserve to have easy access to Epcot. It was a nice break for all of us.

Wonderful Resort. Minor adjustment at Amare needed.

georgemK9517OU (North Port, Florida) on Feb 10, 2026

The resort is awesome. However the service level at “Amare” needs attention. 10 minutes before greeted at restaurant. Then sat for 15 minutes until Restaurant Manager Gabriel came by…..she immediately remedied situation. Very unusual and hopefully won’t occur again. We’re loyal fans of resort and try to use restaurant versus Cake Bake!

Base room rate, and oh yeah, plus fee, and this other fee, and one other - and oh yeah, tax on those fees.

Sorry but can't give a strong rating for a hotel which charges $50 per night "Resort Service Package" and does not offer a single thing as part of that package. Rip off. Just increase your daily rate instead of charging people for "Grounds", "Occupancy/Tourism", and "Resort Service Package" along with tax for each. I did not even mention the extraordinary $40 per night for self-parking in an open-air parking lot. This is an example of a hotel who is trying to lure you with per night rates, only to add all these extra fees. I am all for a federal mandate on this issue based on hotels like this one.

Great place to stay!

An excellent place to stay. The comfort and service delivered exactly what you would expect at this price point. Very convenient walking distance to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. We’ll be back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel but...

I had a mostly wonderful stay at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—modern, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. The décor throughout the property is stunning, and the rooms are equally impressive: spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. I appreciated having a mini fridge and a Keurig machine in the room, which made the stay feel more convenient and upscale. It's also very close to Epcot, about a 10 minute walk or a slightly longer complimentary water taxi ride. Dining at Amari was a standout experience. The restaurant is not only aesthetically gorgeous, but the food and overall experience were excellent. It felt like a true highlight of the property and something I would recommend even to non-hotel guests. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly impacted by an issue after checkout. I accidentally left my medication in the mini fridge, stored inside a cooler pack. When I contacted the hotel, I was told by security that it was not there. I can’t say for certain whether the next guests took it or if it was discarded by housekeeping, but it was definitely left behind. What was most disappointing was the lack of concern or follow-up from the hotel regarding this matter. Medication is not a trivial item, and the response felt dismissive, as if the situation wasn’t taken seriously. Overall, the Swan Reserve is a beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and dining, but the handling of my lost medication left me with concerns about accountability and guest care. I truly wish this had been addressed with more empathy and urgency, as it overshadowed an otherwise lovely stay.
