I’m typically very heavily dependent on reviews so here is my unbiased review of Royalton Riveria cancun. Facility- immaculate, As expected with a newly renovated hotel. Everything was clean, well maintained and nothing ever seemed out of place. Their lost and found is well logged with photos that upload to their guest services system within an hour of being found, Which was great to see. Food- Lots of pork based products that’s to be expected but the pasta and taco stations make sure you can get any protein you want. Not much seafood outside of fish at any of the restaurants, So if you’re looking to eat 20 pounds of sea food on your trip, This isn’t the place but the seafood that was available was good. Overall the food was 8/10 at the buffets. *** book you al la carte the moment you get your room number as they are very limited booking I was very underwhelmed by the steakhouse but the Mexican and tex mex were fantastic. Room service was good but limited - one night it did take significantly longer than the booked time but that’s to be expected in a busy place. However we filled out a survey about the experience and the following night at our al la carte the manager of food services (I think that was his title) Guerilmo approached us to apologize, offered another booking to an al la carte we couldn’t book AND sent us a bottle of champagne to our room. Excellent customer service over an issue we weren’t even that upset about ! Beach- sargassum is an issue this time of year but every Saturday a tractor comes through to clean it up but by Monday it is covered again. Not the resorts fault but good to note. ZERO outside vendors found on the beach which is great, Only the resorts spa and excursion people will be found on the beach asking for business Poolside wait staff- Jeronimo and Luis at the main pool were the two main folks we dealt with 10/10 excellent personalities, Really added to our experience Plenty of seating at all the pools, There’s different vibes for different areas and you’re sure to find something that suits your vacation style Kids- we didn’t bring kids but the kids pool section looked like a great time with lots of options for kids in the water park area Maid service. Very attentive and did an excellent job cleaning the rooms The app- the app is clunky and needs improvements but overall is a benefit for booking al la cartes, using the map and ordering room service Overall- it’s a newly reopened resort so expect some minor process issues that they are obviously ironing out. I’m not the type to return to a resort as I like experience different things each time but I’d be very tempted to return to this place based on the experience I had.

We had such an amazing time at the Dips pool bar. Jose and Alfonzo took such great care of us everytime we came to the bar, and always greeted us with a smile! We had the best time and wouldn’t have been the same without the entire team of the dips pool bar including all the gentlemen that delivered the drinks to us. Ramiro and all

We had a really good experience here because we tried paddle board yoga first time. It was really fun ! Also we had a normal yoga class in the morning at beach .
