We had a great time in Blau Varadero! Lovely staff, great service and lots of activites. Beautiful beach and great concerts at the piano bar!

First time at Blau Varadero resort from 7-18 of December 2025! Loved loved it. It was a couples vacation and we loved every minute of it. Impressed by the hotel, had been to cuba 6x. The hotel is clean, personnel nice and warm, helpful and kind. The beach is beautiful and clean, clear water and waves when windy so great to jump in waves. We didn't lack anything food wise but brought our own condiments to add to the experience (bring if you appreciate additional taste). There were mosquitoes but not to bad, bring spray/ cream if you want to be on safe side and apply if needed, worse was at airport coming home!) Room are clean and comfortable, we didn't pay extra for view of pool/beach so were on the other side but funny enough since its in a peninsula we had view of ocean on that side and beautiful sunrises. We did 2 expeditions (1 full day @Habana and the rum/cigar) we recommend. (Also, bring pesos for bathroom and they do accept CUD but much better to use USD, they might not give fair exchange). The activities were well rounded for all, if you're looking for fun you find it, if you want calm ask for a room in a quiet place so as to not be bothered by the piano bar musique that can be loud till 11 pm or so. The service was good and helpful, the room maids love anything that they cannot buy in cuba like ( tampons and hygienic things like that, toothpaste/ toothbrush, razor's, mosquitos repellent, wipes and hand sanitizer etc) Please don't forget everyone else that works hard on ressort like the gardening staff, cleaning staff etc...) This was our experience ....???? Will definitely recommend to family and friends... hopefully the cuban people wont suffer too much from what is going on out there!

Amazing experience at this resort. Food is excellent, beach is beautiful, rooms are large and very clean. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely incredible experience. Amazing energy with all of staff, the rooms were kept extremely clean and the beach was beautiful! 10/10

I love the hotel so much, it was an amazing experience! The staff is amazing and have a wonderful energy within them! I would definitely return again
