Eighth visit to Paradise.

Stephen M (Vancouver) on Dec 12, 2025

This is our EIGTH visit to this hotel. There are a number of reasons we keep returning. firstly is the staff; always friendly, attentive and mindful. Then there is the private beach, with beautiful sand, and warm, clear water, with playful, but cheeky and adventurous waves. Complementing the beach experience, there are wonderful thatched umbrellas to protect you from the sun and comfortable lounge chairs on which to enjoy the beach. Furthermore, there is food available right on the beach, along with showers and toilets, as well as a kiosk to get fresh towels. And last but not least, The beach has a very experienced and attentive lifeguard to ensure everyone’s safety. The room was spacious with a large patio overlooking the beach and forest area of the hotel. It was well stocked with towels, water, soaps, and shampoos, and the cleaning staff always did a fantastic job to maintain the room every day while we were there.. The breakfast every day is worth the visit with fresh regional fruits and Mexican themed hot dishes. The lunches offered up fresh salads, hot dishes and desserts by the pool, and the dinners were always varied with even the option of doing fine dining above the beach or in the Italian And Mexican restaurants on site. The restaurant staff likewise is worth the visit; always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your dining experience is a good one. The front desk staff were always helpful and patient, and so were the luggage handlers and staff responsible for securing taxis to and from the hotel. We will be back there again soon.

Super comfortable and friendly stay at Las Brisas Ixtapa. Love the fact that there are now some pickleball courts on site. Best private beach imaginable. Great fun events at the hotel with Jimena too!

A must place to be if you want outstanding service, great food, comfortable ocean view rooms and an amazing private beach! Super safe. This is our 8th time here and many more to come. Martin, Emanuel, Jesus, Angel…they are more than waiters, they are now friends. We look forward to seeing you soon. Xxx

We have been coming to Las Brisas Ixtapa for about 12 years and continually love this place. The employees are so gracious kind and helpful the service and food is consistently good. the location is beautiful. After coming for all these years the staff recognizes us year after year and greets us at each meal. It's not the Ritz-Carlton but it's exactly how we want Mexico to be

Unforgettable Vacation

Alex A on Dec 07, 2025

We visited this resort for our honeymoon and overall had a wonderful, memorable experience. The entire property felt clean, relaxing, and well-maintained. Our room on the 21st floor had a breathtaking view, and the king-size bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable — we slept so well every night. One of the best perks was staying on the 20th/21st adults-only floors. Every morning we enjoyed a continental breakfast, and every evening there was a complimentary cocktail hour. This alone elevated our stay and made it feel even more special. The private beach was absolutely beautiful. There were plenty of outdoor shower stations and the towel card system made it easy to get fresh towels daily. We also tried a Miami Vice (a Piña Colada topped with strawberry daiquiri) at the snack bar, and it was exceptionally delicious! The staff made a huge impact on our experience. Yameu at the Lobby Bar was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly made us feel like friends. Angel and Margaritas were wonderful during breakfast and cocktail hour — always welcoming and professional. Ivan took amazing care of us on the beach, always making sure our drinks were full and that we were happy. We cannot praise them enough! Dining Buffet: Just okay — I’m a picky eater, so the options were limited for me. We only ate here the first night and morning. Portofino (Italian): Highly recommend! The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious, and we appreciated the smaller portion sizes compared to the US. Las Brisas 2: Unfortunately, we do not recommend this restaurant. It was the most expensive and the most disappointing. Despite arriving on time with only two other couples seated, it took 20 minutes just to get a water and a beer. My chicken came with the wrong potato puree (sweet potato instead of regular, which I requested), my wifes pork chop was dry, and all the food was cold. A big let down. Downsides & Suggestions Noise: Some nights were loud, especially Fridays. Our room was near the lobby, so that likely contributed. Water bottles: The room only had one water bottle for two guests. We would love to see two bottles provided in the future. Even with a few downsides, this resort truly felt magical. The staff, views, beach, comfort, and overall experience made it a place we would absolutely return to. Our honeymoon was memorable, relaxing, and filled with joy — and this resort was a huge part of that.
