Pros: Spacious room Comfortable bed Friendly staff Pools Lots of activities and restaurants Cons: End of strip which makes it hard to get places without a car 50$ JUST to store items in the fridge One lamp was unplugged and didn’t find an outlet for it to be plugged in! Another lamp wasn’t working at all Food court was expensive! I would still stay there and think it’s a good place especially for families because of the pools.

Marijuana smell up in the hotel room and all over the casino area not Kidsfriendly at all. Pool area of filthy as swell empty beer bottles, empty drinks, used towels no one cleans it up is a mess. I don’t dare to go back.

Awesome hotel.. wouldn’t mind staying here again. Usually stay down in old town Vegas at the circa. Great staff

This was my first time staying at Mandalay, and overall I ended up thoroughly enjoying my time there. It’s a very different experience compared to staying center-strip, but in a good way. I like the ability of being able to “withdraw” from all of the action and traffic when you’re looking to just relax - much more “vacation/relaxation” suited compared to somewhere like Cosmo where you’re in the action 24/7. I will say, while the seclusion is a bonus, it can also be a curse as well. If you’re looking to travel anywhere past NYNY, it because almost a requirement to request an Uber or take a taxi due to the distance. Again, not a dealbreaker, but definitely worth considering when planning an itinerary. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are clean and nice and I would stay here in a heartbeat. All-in-all, I’d give Mandalay a very solid 8-8.5/10. Very few things wrong with the resort.

Spent a birthday here, it was a great stay. Hotel staff were professional and friendly. Hotel was located perfectly on the strip and connected to two others!
