Karson at the VIP check in desk was amazing. Gave us a room with a great pool view. He even gave us room credit due to the ice machine not working our entire stay.(Sept 3-10). On the other hand Christine in the same exact area pressured me and my wife as we grabbed waters for the ride home. For my room number and asked if we were military or something else or card holders which i am a card holder and was given a key with a silver circle so we wouldn't have issues. But i felt very uncomfortable and singled out bit rude but firm tone. And others entered and hot snacks and left no questions asked. I understand rules but rules should be for everyone. Besides that your other staff was great friendly welcoming and made me feel heard. For that thank you but my departure was not a great one and is bugging me honestly.

They charge for everything pool locker, a place to sit with an umbrella no float tubes for the lazy river. Drinks are watered down slot machines are tighter than tight. Bottle of water is 8$ the refrigerator in the room has no room for your drinks or food.

Atmosphere, rooms, and location was everything

Mandalay Bay is nice inside. The room was decent. It needs better lighting in the room and furniture is old though. Our chairs were red but the arms were all black. You can’t use the mini fridge which is ridiculous or you will be charged. No where for leftovers or water. You can go buy water for $8 bucks. Come on Vegas you should want people to hydrate and keep some prices low but they don’t. If you want water use the vending machines on your floor for $3. Location sucks. You have to do ride share everywhere. I don’t like how everything is so over priced. Totally sucks the fun. You pay resort fees but then they charge you to use a chair at the pool with an umbrella $250. No shade hardly anywhere. They know you are going to spend money on food and drinks but give back no good amenities for spending your money there. The adult pool you have to pay for one of them the free one would have been nice but again no chairs to sit on everything was reserved. No shade. Drinks are way over priced . Staff was so stuffy, not friendly. They don’t even let you bring water in. They want you to buy $8 waters. Ridiculous!! They offer nothing special for staying at there resort and paying resort fees. They just want money for everything. What’s the point. No wonders people aren’t going to Vegas. They are way to money hungry. So many better places to visit.

Had a good time hotel was fine however, my only issue is the hotel provided refrigerator that they had things in there that could not be moved that were for sale only
