Super Bowl Sunday Stay

Z6398MNgaryr (The Villages, Florida) on Feb 14, 2024

Chose this place due to close proximityto airport after getting off cruise ship in San Pedro. Found location extremely convenient as could walk from hotel to terminal 1 and/or hotel provides shuttle service to/from LAX. Checked in shortly after 300 pm & caught 330 PM kickoff in lounge in front of one of several large wall-mounted TV’s. Hotel has on-site restaurant which is also another peek for meals. Stays open until midnight. Food was served hot and flavorful. Rooms were updated, large in size and very clean. Bellman service available for assistance with luggage & Starbucks located inside hotel lobby, as well as a gift shop. Good place for anyone passing through area and desiring tether your lodging to the airport for convenience galore.

Close to airport and beautiful hotel!

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport for a business trip. We were able to catch a shuttle from airport straight to the hotel. Had a great time. In and out but would definitely stay again!

Good airport hotel. No globalist upgrades offered even when available upon check in

Good location for early morning departures. Good value hotel, I’m a Hyatt loyalist and a globalist now in my 2nd year, so I have stayed in many regency’s. In US and abroad. Comparatively, it was a slight let down. There was no complimentary suite upgrades offered, I’m not someone who asks for it, but knowing there were standard suites available on the website for the dates I was staying, I was a bit disappointed not being offered one. Apart from that, great location, valet, and decent size room for night sleep before morning flights.

Great option if you need to be near LAX

nelsoli (Seattle, Washington) on Feb 14, 2024

Super convenient place to stay for a late or early flight from LAX. Property has a free shuttle but the walk is about 15 minutes which is shorter than waiting for the shuttle and then driving. Property is well maintained and fairly recent although there was construction going on when we were there during the day. Rooms were good. Gym was nice (although it needs a bit more ventilation). Check in process was super easy. I would consider staying here again if I need to be near LAX.

Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport a great hotel for coming from or going to LAX.

captainztravels (New York City, New York) on Feb 14, 2024

The Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport is a short walk from the LAX terminal, located just east of the main entrance. This hotel is in the middle of a bunch of parking lots so there is not much around the hotel that is walkable. I love the fact that you can walk to this hotel, as it could save you lots of time waiting for the hotel van, which they do have available. The front desk staff was very friendly and quickly checked me into my room. Either in the lobby or just off the lobby there is a restaurant, a Starbucks, and a small convenience store with beverages, and small bites. The styling of this hotel is modern and chic. It looks as if they recently went through a remodel as most things look new. The elevators are key card controlled, for an extra level of security. My room was nice with modern furnishings. The room accents were in bright yellow (ice bucket and the coffee station) which may sound a little loud, but it worked for me! There was a huge flat screen tv in the room, a large table, and a couch that could be converted into a small single bed. I like the use of a large table versus a desk because it makes the room homier and less office like. The bed linens and pillows were of really nice quality. Anyone that knows my reviews knows how important linens and pillows are to me. There was a mixture of foam and feather pillows available on the bed. The bed itself was a bit hard for me, but still very comfortable. I like a soft, pillow top type bed, personally. The bathroom was a bit dark, that some may find too dark to be functional. The shower was excellent, with a rain head, shower wand combination. Big bonus for their use of large toiletries in the shower instead of single use ones - Thank you Hyatt for that. This hotel advertises itself on Google Maps as a 4-star hotel. Overall, I wish I could give 4.5 stars, but since that is not possible, I am comfortable giving a 5-star review.
