Eat elsewhere

Rooms and location are good. Sterile environment. Not very friendly. The hotel was clean. Upgraded to a suite upon request, which was much appreciated given our family of 5. Dinner was awful-eat at the airport instead.
This hotel is in terrible disrepair

The rooms are filthy, furniture is worn ripped and stained Carpet in not much better and hallways smell like smoke The coffee shop which I am not sure is independently owned by Hyatt is awful There is water on the floor and exposed wires and buckets behind the counter….hopefully they were under construction for a remodel
Pefect location for a trip to LAX

I have reviewed this property before and am glad to report it is still a great place to stay. If you have a convention at the airport, this is perfect. The Globalist breakfast is delicious and the staff most accomodating. You can't beat the shuttle to/from the terminals as they use the Quick park vans. Super convenient. My only issue with this vist was some sort of elevator issues one Sunday morning. Only one of four was operational. Very inconvenient and led to elevator overcrowding. I don't know how long that lasted as I checked out soon after. I assume this was a one off and will certainly stay here agian
NEW AND IMPROVED

The Hyatt LAX has undergone a renovation and it is truly magnificent. The rooms are so fresh and modern. The lobby is very welcoming. You can’t beat the location if you are traveling and the parking is literally steps away from the lobby. A+++++++
Dirty and bad service
thomasjmroz (Buffalo, New York) on Sep 10, 2023
Room was dirty with stains in all the furniture and dust on the walls and ceilings. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned or updated in quite a while. We waited over 30 minutes to get breakfast but since no one came to serve us we had to leave.
