Horrible place to stay!

Great and Ugly at the same time.

Great complex overall. Stayed on the Grand side. Maybe next I'll try the Luxury (Adults Only side). Big Maybe. Food was tasty and didn't get changed for the 7 days we were there, but always something for everyone to eat. Love love the beach in the cove, which is beside the Kids Pool area in the Grand Side. Majority of the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and mini fridge stock daily. Most bartender were awesome, tip them (they definitely do appreciate it) This was my 2nd time here, thought my first time in 2018 was much better, I guess since Covid, everything has changed. Did see roaches in the Don Pablo restaurant and that was enough for me to keep an eye around every other restaurant we ate at. Only saw 1 more at the main buffet, Really think they need to spray to control that problem before it gets worst. Some people think it's not a problem, I have been to enough resorts and when I see roaches in the restaurants, it's not enough for me to Not wanting to go back, sorry that just disgusting, when you are eating and they are under your table or walking by your feet. Yes, I get it ,it's the Carribean, blah blah but sorry this one is on the Hotel to control this problem. Thanks and Enjoy your stay if you go here.

My worse experience

Third time and my last time. I cannot wait to leave. The food handling is not up to standards. How do you have the hamburger bread in a bin and all the flies landing and buzzing all over the bread. The young lady using no gloves and dipping the bread for french toast on the eggwash. I took up five dinner plates counted them one after the other and all the food stuck on the plates top and bottom. A young man just came to restock my room, he just knocked and open the door and walk right in, supposs I was naked. I am not happy and will not be returning neither will I recommend.

Make Better Choices

This is definitely not a five-star resort. Let begin by saying I traveled with my family (myself, husband and children aged 20 and 12). We paid for 2 “suites” and they were supposed to be next to each other and they were not which was the first string of disappointments. The rooms were dated and not the cleanest and I had to request additional towels everyday. They know at least 2 people are in the room there should be enough towels and wash cloths for both people. There was no liquor in the rooms either just beer and pop. The food was subpar at best. The buffets hardly had anything edible and the outdoor buffets were covered in flies because they did not bother to cover the food. The Italian restaurant was decent and so was the jerk hut. Let’s just say my twelve-year-old son was ready to come home because he found the food uneatable and he is not hard to please at all. When the staff asked me about my stay I explained my disappointment and they blamed it on Covid. I wanted this to be a great vacation because this was my children's first trip to Jamaica and it was definitely a disappointment.

Run down dirty hotel

This hotel is the worst experience I have ever had if you are coming with a large group just stay home they do not accommodate for large groups. I saw a whole lot of cockroaches in the dining area and on the food also in the rooms the AC in some of my family members rooms were not working multiple times throughout the day we've had light and current issues and the maintenance staff usually take four hours to tend to something that really took them one second to fix. The guest service and front desk are very rude at times and seem to be dismissive, and they believe that their behavior is not noticeable. If you book with one of the restaurants, they sometimes don't have your booking when you have already confirmed it. if you don't want to work, just go home no need to be miserable at a job that pays you money. All 20 of my family members had stomach issues I believe that there is some thing nasty such as contamination going on in the buffet. I have never had those type of issues. They don't have enough sense to put AC in the lobby area for those who are just checking in. They have one room way behind you that has an AC area and that is complete nonsense. The pool stuff are constantly interested in the young ladies. If you're wondering why this place has a decent review here it's because they hand out liquor and tell you to give them a five star review in a exchange. Cleaning ladies aren't paying attention, and sometimes leave out some of the most important products such as rags they must be looking through my stuff for them to be so distracted and not do their only job. Food was very bad, I guess the chefs don't know how to cook for such a large amount of people. The hotel hallways are dark, dirty and dingy and there seems to be a smell in the areas that are ran down. They also do construction in broad daylight in an area that many people pass by. They have no courtesy for the disabled and people who cannot walk well the elevators are constantly down. My whole trip I was afraid of eating the food because I experience stomach cramps that aren't normal for a person like me.
