We had a lovely stay at Live Aqua resort. Our room was very comfortable and modern, and the outdoor tub was a nice bonus! The staff was extremely friendly, especially our hostess for breakfast and lunch - Jharitza. Jharitza recognized us after the first few days and made us feel like family! Her hospitality and friendly attitude really improved our experience!

Had such a great experience this week at Live Aqua. The staff truly made the trip….from our favourite waiter Julio at Liberi every morning and lunch, to Jose the butler manager, who seemed to know what we needed before we even did, to manager Clariana who was attentive and helpful….I can not say enough. Such a relaxing week, I don’t want to go home!

I left 24 hrs ago and I just booked again! Twenty of my family & friends flew in to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. This resort & staff is phenomenal! On a scale of 1-10, this resort is a 15! We stayed in the Tierra Suite. Our butler Danielito was Fabulous. He went over & beyond to make our stay wonderful. The Aqua Club Manager Eva personally sat with me and asked what could she do to make our stay “Perfect”. Julio for breakfast even arranged for all of us to sit together and made sure the mimosas were flowing. Make sure you upgrade to be able to take advantage of the private Aqua Lounge. It’s worth it

Me and my boyfriend stayed here from 6 to 13 May for a week. Now we've read quite a few reviews on here - some quite frankly are scary and made us a little apprehensive about staying. However we had a really lovely holiday, which was made super special by the fantastic people who worked there and the service we received. We had a slight hiccup when we arrived - the room we were given smelt of damp and the shower was broken (4304) - we called reception and they showed us a selection of rooms within about 5 mins of calling. Moved our bags into a clean non smelling room, and all was fine. We stayed in 4306. There are some areas that haven't lasted like you'd expect in a 5* hotel - the taps and other things like hinges etc have rusted - most likely due to the humidity. But everything was clean. They have painted over rusted taps but you can tell. Again all are in the bathrooms (from the moisture I imagine). Some people have said that the hotel don't care about special occasions - this is not what we experienced at all. It was my birthday on the 8th, and after mentioning it that morning to Jandy (what a superstar!!) he booked us a table at the Italian (Sospiro) and when we arrived he'd decorated the whole table and wall with happy birthday things! It was fantastic and such a treat. We saw him every day at breakfast, greeted with a high five and beaming smile! What more could you want. I was also left a birthday cake in our room after it's daily clean! The pools are gorgeous, we loved mixing up between the main pool and quieter ones - the gardens are just stunning and I loved the quieter pools because you were right in the middle of the plants. The beach was cleaned of seaweed every day but due to the weather we spent more time by the pool. Food wise, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet immensely - loads of choice, nice fresh omelettes and pastries. Again the staff here were fabulous - with Yuleisy greeting us every day and was just lovely and the wonderful Yohangel who was just a happy joyous soul! We miss him already! On our last day, Confesor from the Wonderpool pool bar/restaurant brought us a bottle of fizz, with flowers just because. It was so special. Our favourite place to eat was Mariflora - it served the best food and had the freshest fish (ceviche) I've ever had (including when I've been to Asia). The Italian was the nicest restaurant on an evening. I did find I was a bit disappointed with the rest - you could tell the food was preprepared in the Mexican and the Asian food was just not good at all. We didn't try the tepanyaki as I don't eat meat, but ate fish only on this trip to bring some variation. It would be nice to have more veggie options. We had no dodgy tummies at all after being here - I thought it may be like Mexico but nothing happened which is also a sign of how clean the hotel is. It's scented always, and spotless. The cocktails were always lovely, and the house wine is also really good! Evening entertainment was hit and miss - basically depended on the type of people staying. Loads of DJ sets but if you've not got the crowd it can feel a bit flat. The best night was the fire show and live band. It was brilliant! I'd definitely say they should do more of that! Depending on how many 5* all inclusive hotels you've been to, you'll be able to tell there's some details here that maybe make it feel a bit less than that - but the staff here were so lovely it made up for the food really. We tipped of course, but honestly it made our trip and will make us return here. Thank you for such a special vacation - overall it was lovely and relaxing.

We absolutely loved Live Aqua. We were created at the front desk with a very nice and attentive front desk agent. (I wish I remembered his name) he upgraded our room from a garden view to a pool view, whixh was super sweet. We had to wait for our rooms to be cleaned so we got to explore the hotel the first day. We went to eat and hung out by the pool for a while until our room was ready. We loved the room, it was clean, spacious and we'll stocked. The next morning, for breakfast we met Yuleisy, our greeter, she was super sweet and attentive to myself and husband. She asked us our names and remembered them throughout our entire trip. I loved that. She made great recommendations on where to eat. Our servers every morning where Jandy and Johangol. They were very entertaining, they made us laugh everyday. I would recommend those three if you ever venture to Live Aqua. The only downside is that the pools close at 7pm every night. They have great love entertainment. I enjoyed most of the food choices. Some of the things,like the itialian restaurant, there food was undercooked. But overall, it was a great stay, the resort was clean and the rooms, including the showers where great. I would highly recommend.
