Our stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana was nothing short of perfection. As a vegetarian couple, we were blown away by how the staff handled our dietary needs. We never had to settle for 'just a salad'; the chefs created incredible, high-end vegetarian dishes that were flavorful and creative. The pool layout is stunning—very sleek and never felt overcrowded. Whether you want a quiet vibe or something more social, there’s a spot for you. Our room was a sanctuary. The modern design swim up room. It is just fab! A huge, heartfelt thank you to our butler, Yrani. She is an absolute superstar! She took care of every single reservation, coordinated with the kitchens regarding our vegetarian meals before we even arrived at the restaurants, and surprised us with thoughtful touches throughout the day. She made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. If you are looking for a sophisticated, adult-only getaway where you don't have to worry about a thing, this is it. We’ll be back!

This place was just absolutely amazing, all workers are super helpful and caring everything you would ever need in a all inclusive resort big thanks to Rafael, maria, confessor and Red those are definitely your go to people for any of your needs!

We stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana to celebrate my birthday, and overall the experience was decent, with clear wins and some serious red flags. The resort has a quiet, adults-only, couples-focused ambiance with a noticeably older crowd. It’s calm, low-energy, and definitely not a party or young-adult resort. If your goal is unplugging, this fits. If you want nightlife or a lively scene, this isn’t the move. The pools are amazing—beautiful, serene, and genuinely relaxing. Beach and pool areas were a highlight. Activities on the resort, however, were limited and repetitive, so days can start to feel the same. The standout was the butler service. Yrani and Daya went above and beyond, especially with my birthday dinner setup. Their professionalism and attention to detail elevated the stay and carried the overall experience. Now the cons—because transparency matters. The food and beverage program needs a full revamp. Buffet food was consistently dry and flavorless, and restaurant options were limited and repetitive. Cocktails were overly sugary and watered down, which led to constant headaches. Beer was the only reliable option. The biggest issue was the Fiesta Rewards membership push, which felt like a classic timeshare scam. We were told we’d receive welcome gifts, which turned into a 90-minute presentation pitching a travel membership “cutting out the middleman” like Expedia. It took up our entire morning. When we politely declined, the pressure continued. The ask? A $5,900 deposit and roughly $29,000 for a 10-year membership. Hard no. Bottom line: Live Aqua Punta Cana excels in service, pools, and relaxation. But between the weak food, limited activities, and aggressive membership sales tactics, it’s not a flawless experience. Come for peace and service—just be ready to set firm boundaries

I am a bit late writing this review but all I can say is WOW! Me and my wife booked Live Aqua for our our wedding anniversary September 2025 and from the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be special. The hotel is immaculate and we wanted for nothing while there. Every meal was fantastic as we're the drinks. The most impressive part of the trip was the staff from their friendliness to their professionalism each and every one works so hard and are a credit to the hotel. Everyone was wonderful but a special mention to the below, (I know their is a lot but that reflects the standard at this hotel). Bonita - cleaner Jackeline and Nancy - waitresses Rosa and Noemi - coffee shop Joel, Miguel and Brayan - pool waiters Johangel, Dario, Julio, July, Kelvis - waiters and bar staff Joel and Adonis - Huzzur waiters Red, Jesus and Prisilla - entertainment team. We had such an amazing time and we have booked to come back again this September 2026.
