Entertainment for kids and family were wonderful. Food and drink quality was very mediocre. Staff worked hard to please guests. VIP wasn't really anything special.

This was an amazing family vacation. We stayed for two weeks. We were preferred but upgraded rooms to the master suite. Regular suite was very small for a family of 4. Rooms were always clean. Beautiful views from top preferred floors. Food- absolutely delicious. Zero complaints. Our fave restaurant was Asian but they were all good. No dinner buffet. All a la cartes and being April we got in right away whenever we went. They were very conscientious about allergies. Beach- kept clean. Always staff raking and maintaining. The wall helped keep the seaweed out for the most. Fun snorkeling from hotel. Shows- 830 so not too late for the kids. They were all amazing. Easy to find a seat to watch. Pool- warm and clean but lots of chlorine. Main pool nice because lots of entertainment but preferred was nice too, just more quiet. There were families at preferred with kids. Chairs were like all resorts. Get up early but that’s because people don’t throw towels in hamper when they leave for the day or they reserve seats and go on excursions. Not resorts fault. Coco cafe- amazing treats in the 2nd floor. As with the entire resort the staff was great. Loved their cold frapachino. Deysi and Alejandra stood out with their smiles and had my weird drink orders memorized. Entertainment- absolutely amazing at night. But the entertainment staff during the day was by far the best we have encountered and we travel often. They had so many games and activities to keep kids and adults engaged if you wanted to do so. I wouldn’t say this is a party resort but there was lots of fun had during day at pool. Piero, Edy, Sebastian, Karla Javier, Julio, and Andy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to show us a good time. Alba made our omelettes every morning. Always smiling and knew my exact order. One day my husband felt unwell so while I was eating she brought soup to my table to bring to my husband in the room to help him feel better. It was so thoughtful!!! Joshua and the preferred staff at 7 floor were always friendly and greeted us on our way to our rooms with big smiles. All in all if you want a low key vacation on a small resort we loved this. The Dreams chain never lets us down. It’s small so easy to navigate and feel at home but with the entertainment staff you won’t be bored. 5 stars

Bar manatee was our favorite. Erick was wonderful and his drinks were delicious. The same music over and over everyday was a little obnoxious. But the bartenders made the experience great. I just wish the preferred pool was closer to the ocean.

We're already talking about going back. And possibly making it an annual family vacation. Keep up the good work.

The resort itself is extremely small and was doing construction the entire time. Our swim up room was surrounded by yellow caution tape with a brown tarp covering our pool. We heard drilling and hammering well into the night due to ongoing maintenance. However, our preferred concierge, Joshua, went above and beyond to switch and upgrade our room and provided little surprises throughout the remainder of our stay. His amazing service was what helped our trip be enjoyable.
