JAVIER WAS LIKE THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY NIGHT…He was so sweet and welcoming. He greeted us every time we left. It was like he knew us every time we came in or out!!! The hotel was ok…smelled like a little mildew. I’m not sure if it was from the hurricane but it was indeed hard to sleep. We had to light some candles and spray perfume. The food was ok the breakfast omelettes was probably the best thing to eat! They definitely make you feel safe!! Don’t be scared to go into the community it’s safe we rented golf carts to get around in everyday and they were reasonable in price! Make sure you tip!!! They do great and they work hard.

Besides the rooms having a weird smell our experience was great.Plenty of restaurants and bars in the community. The customer service here is top tier. A special shoutout to Javier/Rudolpho/Romeo/and many others. Unfortunately I can’t remember their names.

Dreams resorts are usually very nice and well kept. It’s my understanding this particular property is one of the oldest ones and it definitely shows. Maybe it was just our two rooms but they smelled so bad. Like the stench was stuck to all of our clothes and belongings. It’s a moldy mildew smell, it was just really gross. There was noticeable mold on the ceiling of the world cafe and a leaking ceiling. Other than that, the staff and food was great. They made the stay better but I know there is another dreams location in Tulum that you’re better off staying at.

Arrived and resort was not what I expected. Entertainment team staff were amazing. Celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday and they placed an anniversary banner on her door. Service is in the details...

It has been mentioned often that the staff make this property a dream and it was true in our case also. A special shout out to Paulina, the pool concierge and to Jorge and Salvador who look after the bars, but we didn't meet one member of staff who wasn't positive and cheerful. We elected for the preferred room option which worked nicely for us as you get the use of a less noisy and busy pool and access to a very nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch which overlooked the marina . Rooms were large and well-equipped and with a good sized balcony. We had a hurricane (Beryl) come over mid-way through our holiday which was a little upsetting but, again, the staff all rallied around and pretty much everything was back to normal within 24 hours which was amazing. The food is very good and there are 5-6 restaurants serving different food although, funnily enough, the Mexican food was a little bland! Well done Dreams Aventura!
