First time visiting Dreams Aventuras in Mexico, and it definitely will not be the last. My family and I had an amazing time, such a beautiful resort, the staff was amazing and truly amazing. Such great service. Cristian our entertainment staff among the others were also amazing and so friendly. We made friends with Cristian and it was so sad to say goodbye. Until next time though.. we will ?? percent go back. ????
Do not recommend

Definitely do not recommend this hotel. The room itself smelled dingy. And the hotel is falling apart, one morning we were awaken by a loud crash and looked outside our to find that part of roof had caved in and was leaking water. It stayed like that for about 2 days and then a crew decided that it was a good idea to fix the ceiling at 930 pm. The food is mediocre at best and we flat out walked out of the seaside grill because the food was inedible.
Mexico Magic

Great location and facilities. Make sure you speak with staff and check understanding. Cleanliness excellent. Lots of choice for food and drinks. Important to be able to access the app. It’s difficult to make the most of what’s on offer without it. Limited room service menu.
Little disappointing

First off, the staff were great. Other than one restaurant server, everyone was very pleasant. Some bartenders were obviously pros, others that seemed to be watching the bar were clueless. The food wasn’t all that great. The buffets were disappointing as the food was mostly cold and small by comparison to other buffets we’ve experienced at smaller resorts. We’re use to adults only and we’ll be going back after our experience here. They really need an adults only area. The gift shops closed and were packing up while we were there. It’s a really bad look. The room itself wasn’t as pictured. The “swim out” room wasn’t a swim out at all. Just a little pool outside the room with no connection to a pool. Our view was of a restaurant. Overall a very disappointing paid “upgrade”. The preferred club isn’t much of a perk. My suggestion is to make preferred club adults only so it would be worth something. We yield that we’re not the target market. We’re parents travelling without our grown kids so this is not a destination we would even entertain in the future.
Great vacation at Dreams Adventuras.

Location was great. It is in a large residential area (Puerto Adventuras) with other resorts, condos, a shopping area with a lot of restaurants, a marina, and a dolphin and manatee encounter. We walked out to the main road and went shopping at a supermarket (similar to a small Walmart). The atmosphere was geared mainly to families, but I enjoyed it (I am 61). The rooms and balcony were very spacious, and the view over the pools and beach was fabulous and spectacular, especially at sunrise. The shower was gigantic, and the beds were comfortable. Pillows were a little lumpy. The entire resort was spotless and well-maintained. Noise level was good, but the birds were a little loud in the mornings (not a problem for me). My room was on the 3rd floor near the elevators, and since the lobby is open some nights, it was loud from people talking and singing too loudly, but this usually ended at 11:00. It bothered me as we had to be up early for excursions. Service was excellent, even in the restaurants when they were super busy. The hotel offered an option of excellent excursions. We enjoyed the 3 cenotes, a trip to Chichen Itza, and a catamaran sailing/snorkeling trip with lunch and an open bar.
