This was my fifth or sixth time at the Seabird Hotel in Oceanside, and I would have to say it’s one of the best beach experiences and really, the one of the best overall Hyatt experiences that my family have ever enjoyed. Their restaurant, Piper, has farm fresh food, and their breakfast is to die for! The front desk staff, the spa staff, the bar staff, and frankly anyone that we dealt with on this trip was genuinely kind and helpful; the quality type of service and experience that you would hope and expect for when you’re taking your family for a special vacation. This was our first trip, taking our puppy out of town with us, and this hotel in the surrounding area was very pet friendly (and clean).

We had a spacious room (2 queens) with a balcony and partial view of the ocean. Nice and clean and located rt by the gym and pool area. Excellent housekeeping staff! All hotel staff were very pleasant and provided excellent customer service! Nice location, able to walk to other bars and restaurants. The only wish would’ve been more sunnier days(mostly overcast during our stay).

Wonderful location and nice amenities for the adjacent beach at Oceanside. Rooms were nice and spacious enough and the ocean view was quality. Now the less than ideal. Other reviews mention the amount of kids…we literally had kids with us and it was wild how many feral children were running around with no supervision by either their own parents or the staff. Made the pool experience and ocean view balcony the opposite of relaxing. Also, tried the Piper restaurant one morning but got up and left because we didn’t receive service. The location and beach staff made this is a decent experience but we expected much more.

My wife and I were in San Diego for a wedding but decided to stay in Oceanside for a few days prior to enjoy ourselves near the beach. We absolutely LOVED our stay. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was huge. The staff was so kind and willing to answer all of our questions. We did 3 days of breakfast and took advantage of the buffet which offered an incredible amount of high quality food (albeit we thought it was slightly expensive). I particularly enjoyed the hotel gym which had a lot of high quality equipment, wonderful amenities (towels and filtered water), and it was always so clean. We are already looking to plan another trip and if we end up anywhere near Oceanside we will certainly choose the Seabird.

Great location. Clean, friendly staff, nice place to stay and relax. Walking distance for many shops and restaurants. Foot steps from the beach. Pool and spa is nice. Pool service quick. Rooms large and worth the cost. Family friendly. Pet friendly as well.
