Early Christmas at the Seabird Resort.

The Seabird Resort in Oceanside is simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived we were met with a very welcoming staff that helped us check in quickly yet made sure we knew all of what we needed for out stay. While everyone we came in contact with was smiling and willing to help in any way, some standouts were Tyron, Grace, Eric and Angel. They are great ambassadors for the Seabird. We had a wonderful room overlooking the ocean. It was clean and spacious. Each day we were given waters in our room. The tub was huge as well as the walk-in shower. Each morning we had breakfast at the Piper Restaurant at the hotel. On Saturday we had the breakfast buffet. This is a very good choice. So many different varieties of meal choices. And the food was excellent! We look forward to our next stay at the Seabird.
Make sure the pools are open

They shut down all of the facilities for a private event for 2 out of our 3 days. We booked the hotel for the pools and could not use them at both facilities. No compensation was given although I only wanted to experience the hotel.
Not the experience we were looking for.

A group of us stayed for a lacrosse tournament. This is my second time at the hotel. The first time was a 5-star experience. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it after this stay. Upon check-in we were informed a private group reserved the entire pool and adjacent restaurant area, and that we could drive 15+ minutes to the Aviara hotel and use their amenities. After a long travel day this is the last thing we wanted to hear. Additionally what was supposed to be an ocean view room was actually a railroad view with a nice train that woke my son up every hour on the hour. Sadly this will be our last stay.

They mistakenly took a preauthorization on my credit card for zero dollars, so rather than call me and ask me to stop by the front desk when i was in the area, they locked me out of my room. Being a hotel owner and knowing better, very very unprofessional !!
Amazing Hotel

One of the best hotels I've been to. The staff was extremely friendly. My son has a gluten allergy and both the restaurant and room service were very diligent in making sure that there would be no cross-contamination. The overall atmosphere and vibe were amazing. I would highly recommend this place.
