Great stay at the Royalton

Having been once in Varadero (July 2024), we went back last week, choosing for the first time the Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa. This hôtel really deserves its 4.5 stars. Knowing how things have changed in Cuba since the covid, the employees, all of them, still make sure we are pleased in any ways. Specifically at this hôtel, the butler service made a huge différence for us. By calling few days prior our arrival, I had that great chance to talk with Yainen, who ended up to be our butler. She was very professional from the start on the phone, on the ground at the hôtel when we met spontaneously, and through WhatsApp when needed. No matter our request, Yainen and her collegues tried their best to accommodate us. Our stay would not have been the same without her, for sure! Beside that super service from Yainen, we were also very pleased by the menus and the staff at the 4 restaurants, the fantastic work made by the gardeners, the attention and perfect service offered at the buffet by Hermès, Tania, Alberto, Isabel and their team. Same thing at the Clubhouse with Daliah, with the Belt boys, the réceptionnistes, the maids, and so on. We met great cuban people, again, professional and devoted. Many thanks to everyone who worked hard to make our stay a great one. À la proxima ves, ciertamente!

Great resort. Diamond club room is vet outdated, would need to be updated, for sure. Service was great, especially our butler Bryan. Many thanks for his service .
