Overall, this resort has potential for families with small children, however, our stay came with multiple cockroaches in our room, the room had dirt residue, and there was a lot of noise throughout the evenings from music and children screaming which echoed throughout the resort. The food services were great and prompt. The pool was clean and warm. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I felt safe and provided for when needed. Unfortunately though, it is a disappointment to find live bugs and dirty fixtures and flooring in your hotel room that you will be living in for the length of your stay. Also, there was construction during our stay that was not mentioned upon booking. The overall price paid for the services provided was reasonable. I do not feel that we paid a high price for a subpar experience. For what we paid, the food and accomodations were adequate but not something to rave or be excited about.

This place is mediocre, The food is excellent . Hotel management slacks. Rooms are outdated. My room experience cleaningness was a 2/10, I cleaned the dirt my self after Lobby rejected me getting a different room. Yes they provided to clean it again , but lobby very unhelpful .

The hotel is old and some areas need to be rebuilt. The architecture of the hotel is not so nice.... However, I had an excellent time. The food is excellent, drinks are average but they are good. If you are part of the luxury members, you can access exclusive benefits. I definitely will come back. The shows at night are really good. The people and service is excellent.

The open concept makes the hotel all humid. There’s no ac in the main area nor the main buffet or the car park. This makes it a lot hot to get from a to b. The food tastes disgusting like humidity for the hangover of the food. Most drinks are watered down here. The bathroom is very outdated with hardly water coming out the shower head. Awful experience.

My family (husband, 2 boys 6+8, and I) just got back from a week at Seadust Cancun and we had a great time. The service was always friendly and prompt, the food taste and variety was great. I have a supremely picky eater and he always found something to eat and enjoy. My husband overindulged in the seafood and I certainly got my fill of delicious tacos all at the buffet. We also enjoyed the Manhattan restaurant as well as the Italian restaurant. Both kids said the best pizza they had ever had and gave it 10 stars. Bartenders were friendly and made whatever drinks you wanted and the entertainment staff were amazing as well. We all participated in the various activities that were offered. Are there things that could have been better. No matter where you go the answer would be Yes. So here is the only comment on the negative... IF you are really sensitive to the thread count of your sheets you won't love the sheets or blankets!! That said beds were very comfortable and there were a variety of pillows in our room to choose from. There was also some wear and tear in our room but to be perfectly honest it didn't impact our enjoyment of the resort in the least. We would definitely consider going back to the Seadust again.
