Great experience loved the staff especially Sarai, Karla and Johnny they make your experience here 10 times better fun and affordable prices food was amazing and they had a lot of variety everyone was friendly and nice will definitely be coming back

Overall Great experience / Would Recommend for a trip with kids

My stay was for 5 days , a family of 5. The wife , two kids age 5 and 7 , my mother and myself. My wife and I were reading endless reviews and comments for "kid/family resorts" and it is hard since some reviews would be good and some bad so it was hard for us to pick a spot for us but in MY experience I would recommend SeaDust in Cancun. I will try to keep the review short and straight to point. CHECK-IN was good , after you check in you go over to an other section of tables where you meet your "guide" He or she would then sit you down and provide a map and tell you where things are which is great. But then offers a VIP breakfast for the family and some "coupons" and other items but only once you attend this "VIP" breakfast. But they do say to not forget your credit card and your license ???? In my case I did NOT attend since I had a feeling about this being a hoax / pitch for a time share / an "opportunity" to join some club of the resort in this case the INFINITY MEMBERS. I can not say much on this since I did NOT attend. Now if they have asked if I would attend this breakfast to learn more about the INFINITY MEMBERS and by attending you would get rewarded X amount of stuff with no obligations I would prob have said yes. Moving on... THE ROOM , I did "upgrade the room with a better view in the 12th floor , they knew my family size of 5 ( 3 Adults and 2 kids ) which in my opinion the room would be for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids). It was tight for us and It would have been nice if they had more options for a family of 5. FOOD is a very hard item to review since everyone has different taste buds and everyone likes different things. What is delicious might not be for the next person. MY preferences would be El Maguey, The Taco stand that is actually a front of El Maguey. The Food Gallery / the buffet , was a hit or miss for ME. The omelette station was great. We did eat and try other places but those places are the two spots I enjoyed. Overall food rating that I would give is a 8/10 DRINKS ,the first couple of drinks We ordered were a big let down , but it did get better as we tried other places. Leo short for Leonardo or Leonard I forget his name but he was a young gentleman which luckily. I ran into later on our first night,I did ask here he would be the following day(s) and did follow him. So big shout out to him !! STAFF,very great and helpful,and kind !! Cleanliness,was great for me. The housekeeping was GREAT!! ps:fix the elevator(s)!!

Beware, Food

The hotel is nice but mi wife and 7 years old kid got food poisoned and we had to spend 280 usd on medical expenses. also lack of good maintenance, however we had to deal with constant noice because the room next to us was under major reno (hammering, dust, noise).

Advertised 10 restaurants however not open until 6:00 pm. Zip lining and mini golf only open from 5-8. Not as advertised . Pirate ship pool for kids was great. Ice cream stand was nice. Nightly shows mediocre. Shower floor needed work.

Our stay at Seadust fell quite a bit short of our expectations. A number of incidents during our 10 night stay added up to an underwhelming experience. Regardless of the reporting the issues very rarely got resolved.
