Beach is amazing, employees very kind. Alfredo, Luis, Omar, and Cristian at the Santa Rosa restaurant were the best!!! I would just like more food options.

Absolutely worst place I have ever stayed. Staff Is rude and unhelpful. The food is awful! I stayed 2 nights and booked another place even though I could not get a refund. I rather she'll out more money than have a miserable stay. Beware before you book. There are way better places to stay and enjoy.

Diego Marin, Jd, David, Raul are so awesome we love them with all our hearts!!! THEY are the reason we would come back. The food was good but the dining service was ok. We had bugs in our room though sadly, but they did come and spray.
This place was terrible, looking at you, management.

Unfortunately, this place gave such a bad impression of Mexico, hard to know if we will go back. Management; Management was atrocious. They failed to provide hospitality, to a visit that is suppose to be all inclusive. Pro-tip, likely scam. We booked through a 3rd party website. They claimed to have not received payment, however the booking agency confirmed it was paid for, but the resort claimed it was “unpaid.” It was convenient for the scam artists they are, that they wanted to charge our party in total (for 4 couples) around 8000/10000 dollars ahead of time, because they failed to receive the payment. To confirm, the booking agency had already paid, and they disputed saying it wasn’t paid, so they held an additional amount in addition to already receiving the funds from the booking agency. They offered us such a slap-in-the face as soon as we got there, they were not accommodating, they were not willing to work on the solution, so my mother in law spent the vacation on the phone, due to their lack of wanting to make the experience good, for their guests. Disappointing. I guess if you book there- make sure you have an extra couple grand per couple, to go as more than likely, they will to let you know that your booking company hasn’t paid. Management; 0/5 stars. (Bonus, if you can speak Spanish like our family member does, you will hear them talk bad about you, in front of you)! What a delightful experience. Rooms; rooms smelt like mold, rooms were not the cleanest. They also failed to provide hot water during part of our stay, without making anyone aware and we had to call to sort this out, and we were provided information that it will be fixed in 20 mins, well that took all night. Cleaning service was very accommodating. Rooms 2/5 stars. Cleaning service 43/5. Food; Only good food was breakfast, (because I got it made to order), otherwise prepare yourself to have a qati around your food, and flies swarming it. I’m curious of the standards they have for food service, because none of this is considered acceptable in USA, or anywhere around the world, for that matter. Food lacked flavor, food lacked variety, food lacked overall. Food; 0/5stars. (If you go across the road to iguanas, you’ll have a WAY better food experience). Beach; The beach had people’s old plates all over It, along with their trash, it is yes on the people, however a good resort would work to keep its grounds clean, they failed to do this for us. 0/5 stars. Drinks; The best thing was the drinking to forget about how terrible this resort was set up and maintained. Bartenders/servers do work to keep your drinks maintained. My opinion is if the front desk had half of the hospitality our bartenders/servers had, they could have made our experience better. 4/5 stars. Miscellaneous. We had a ‘carnaval’ event 5/5stars. Lounge/club: 2/5 stars. Hibachi: 3/5 stars Unfortunately, if this is your first trip to Mexico, I wouldn’t touch this place with a 10 foot pole. They have led by example, why people don’t trust foreign entities to handle their accommodations abroad. They were not only not accommodating, but unfortunately, the front desk loved to see us pay another multiple grand to experience this, as they were heard talking about us, in front of us. Upon check out (I recommend anyone grab a photo of all information provided to them, and receipts) as they claimed we hadn’t paid our share. Keep in mind I had proof of the hold they did (since they wanted to charge us multiple grand), THEY released the hold, and upon check out refused to let my in-laws leave as they still hadn’t received payment. Similarly, another couple that went with, had a receipt with the hold they did, with a forged signature of them. (They didn’t sign this, they were unaware of it) she was working to take a picture of it upon checkout, and they said she can’t take a picture, well she did and thankfully banking in America will retract fraudulent charges. Since they claimed my in-laws didn’t pay, they charged them … AGAIN, after calling a resort cop (lol, guy was a joke) and conspiring with a taxi company, to not let us leave forcing my in-laws to yet again, pay another amount. Trust the bad reviews. Don’t trust the management. scam scam scam.

My brother and I stayed for two weeks as our base of operations for a scuba diving trip. We are very grateful for the hospitality, kindness, good food, amazing service, comfortable rooms, affordability, and all of the staff going the extra mile to ensure that people have a comfortable and fun stay. Also, the rooms and bedding were incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning was very welcome.Huge thanks to all of the staff at Allegro for a wonderful time in Cozumel and for sharing your country with us.
