Really nice relaxing week with lots of pool
Sonia M (Toronto, Canada) on Jan 17, 2025
We are almost at the end of our Allegro stay & the kids are sad to go. It’s been a great week. My family ate well, slept well (the rooms are very small & a bit out dated but we just went in there to shower & sleep). The pools were fun, the beach was beautiful. The resort is small so perfect for getting around. The kids had a great time at the small water park & the kids club had lots of fun activities for them! Staff all helpful & nice. Overall, a really nice family vacation. If I could offer one suggestion: considering there are a lot of families, I would have appreciated not having songs with so much swearing blasting in the afternoon. Other than that, all good : )
Week in Cozumel

We had a week stay in December 2024. The hotel in general is nice but nothing amazing. If you are looking for a no -frills family vacation I would recommend it. The good: The pools are adequate, the beach is gorgeous and it was very relaxing. if you are looking for diving/snorkeling book at the hotel. that way they come and pick you up at the pier on the beach vs. 3rd party bookings that require you to go into town. not so good: The food is very mediocre except for the xmas dinner which had more thought put in and was great in presentation, preparation and was delicious. We had a negative experience at check-in/checkout. probably not a consistent issue though. 1. After a long day of traveling, we were unable to get into our room for almost an hour. They had issues with the door/bracelet pairing and we had to go to the front desk numerous times to get the proper attention and get it resolved vs. someone accompanying us and getting it resolved efficiently. I asked to speak to the manager and that did not happen. The receptionist did apologize but the manager did not take any initiative to make contact/resolve or offer an apology. 2. On the checkout day we were on a tight schedule. One receptionist was on the phone and others were standing around chatting vs. helping guests. I had to call them out before someone tore themselves away to help me check out :)
Nice to get out of cold

Resort was overall really good and the location to the Diving was great. Biggest issue was they don't keep the pools very warm.

Excellent! Our Best Vacation Ever!

This was the best trip our family has ever had at this resort! Arturo, over food services, and all his staff were excellent, and I have to say that the food quality was better than it's ever been! Floricel, Jorge Chan, Santos Ake, Mariela Tabasco, Juliana Cupul, Mariel Alvarez, Guadalupe Jimenez, Stephanie Noh, Wilma took care of our every need in every restaurant we ate in, and are like family to us. And our favorite server in the world is Naydelin Sarai! Carlos and Archangel went over and above to make accommodations for our whole family (20) at the Mexican Restaurant for a special celebration. Cynthia and Mayel at First Club were absolute gems! They were prepared and professional and they did everything in their ability to accommodate our every request and make our vacation as perfect as possible. Our rooms were very nice, kept very clean, and the air conditioners worked without fail. As always, Omar, Freddy, Christian, and everyone who filled in at the Santa Rosa, were fabulous with us and all of our teenage children!
