We had the most amazing time for the 2nd summer in a row at Allegro Cozumel. The staff is fantastic. Angel, David & Arby keep the fun going all day long at the beach. We can’t wait for our next trip back. We can’t say enough great things about this place.

I am going to say please avoid this place like the plague. When we first arrived the person checking us in was rude. The "keys" to the room they put on your wrist are old and worn out with worn paint and half did not work. Then the front desk asked us for $30 cash for a "clean beach" fee. We then checked into the room and it was hot, the ac was not working well enough and the coolest it ever got in the room as 78 degrees. Plus as soon as we walked into the bathroom a roach ran across my wifes foot. I know it is an island and jungle but the room and the beds are full of bugs. bed full of bugs crawling on you all night. Also the bed had a pillow with blood on it. We then went to the pool which was fine and the beach seemed fine. We then we went to dinner and the food was absolutely inebile. There was nothing in the buffet that was even remotely good. Everything was truly terrible and the restraunt had to be at least 85. Do you want to eat terrible food and it be 85 degrees and sweating? You can only make reservation for a restraunt 1 night out of 4 doudt that woudl be better. We were supposed to stay at the hotel for 4 nights and we left after one night. My faimly could not stay there more than one night even though it cost us $2000 to move hotels. We filled out a form as to why we were leaving early and not one manager even as us to why we were leaving early or what they might be able to do to fix any of the issues. I wish I would have taken more photos of the bugs in the room and the food just so I could share how terrible it was. Now we are figthing for a refund but the hotel will not respond to expedia and are just hoping we go away. We did go and check into the Iberostar hotel it was great. Please think twice before booking this hotel for your sanity. I have never had this bad an experience with a trip.

First time in Mexico and a resort. It was a great time and learned a lot from the trip for future travel. The Resort is family friendly and has activities to keep you busy as well as many tours in the region. The MC,Arbey Aguilar, did a fantastic job with the entertainment, engagement with other vacationers. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the region!

Overall, we had a great experience at the Allegro Cozumel resort. While the facilities were not the best we have seen - the activities crew made it the best time we have ever had at a resort in Cozumel. The beach was beautiful, great sand, and the activities they put on daily was our favorite part. We loved the energy David and Angel brought to their jobs and we will definitely be back soon just for them!! They make the games fun and include anyone who is able to play. If you want a special place to do activities, lay on a nice sandy beach, meet great people from different places, and have loads of fun - this is the resort for you!! Johnny was also a great addition making sure everyone stayed safe on the beach (he is the lifeguard). The rooms were very comfort with great AC and the service was good. Food was delicious. Will 100% be back for the next family vacation.

Johnny Angel, David, RB were awesome at making everybody feel welcome at the resort. Been to Cozumel many many years. The best place to have a good time all day. Great food. Awesome beach. Great night entertainment. And good disco. I will definitely come back next year
