Great Experience at Grand Palladium Bávaro: Friendly Staff and Lasting Memories

We recently returned from a wonderful 9 day stay at the Grand Palladium Bávaro. We stayed in Building 19, Room 1961 which was a swim out room. The room was a little dated, but we really enjoyed the location and the swim out option. We had a few issues with the air conditioning in the room, but the maintenance crew was able to change out the AC motor which fixed the issue. We have been members of the Palladium Travel Club for the past five years. We have visited the three resorts in Mexico and Jamaica several times, but this was our first visit to the Punta Cana location. The food throughout the resort was very good and we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the Chic Cabaret food and performance. We enjoyed several visits to the Zentropia Spa for both massages and the hot tub/sauna/pool area. It was relaxing and quiet. The beach was absolutely beautiful! The only other beach that is comparable, is the one at Costa Mujeres. There were several team members who truly made our experience exceptional. JULIO a PTC cart driver, stood out from the very beginning. He was warm, genuine, and always took the time to connect with us. He remembered our plans, checked in regularly, and made every interaction feel personal. At Capricho, KELVIN delivered outstanding service with his huge, friendly smile and contagious laugh. He was patient, kind, and went out of his way to help us despite our minimal (and abysmal) Spanish. He is not only an excellent waiter but a genuinely great person, and his positivity made every breakfast fun. We also want to recognize other PTC cart drivers — CALEB, CHRISTOPHER, and OVANDY — each of whom provided great service throughout our stay. And our housekeeper MARGO was incredibly sweet, keeping our room spotless and organized all week long. Our butler, WILLAM, continued to impress us with his attentive care. He secured dinner reservations, arranged bottles of alcohol for our room, and quickly helped resolve an issue Overall, these staff members are truly the heart of the resort, and we hope management recognizes what outstanding team members they are. I hope they all get free massages for all the hard work they do!! They made our vacation memorable, comfortable, and full of great memories. We would happily return.

i'd actually give this place a 3star review but 1 star gets your attention. The food was nice, the pool & beach were great. the actual hotel staff were great as were the folks in the restaurant by the pool. 3 stars... less-than-1-star for the harassment the moment you arrive to join the vacation club. "take you to breakfast in the morning" turns out to be a "lets promote the club and make you explore the property and we will give you points, but only if you do".... and the $600 in-room credit? baloney... you can't use it all... massages were egregiously overpriced (but hey, you get $50 off with the credit!)... then there are the hustlers on the beach, but more so in the walkway "do you smoke cigars?" "hey, amigo, do you want to buy"... nonstop... the only person who was truly awesome was the day trip agent that hooked me up with the Monkey land tour.. He was fantastic .... (also, half the restaurants are closed for remodeling and the rooms are ok... the bed was rock-hard and the shower/tub/jaccuzzi flooded the bathroom

More of activities would make stay experience memorable, Variety of drinks could be enhanced and coffee vending machine at reception is required.
Amazing, with amazing staff they are like family

This was our 2nd stay we went in March 2025 stated in Palace part of property this time in Barao Suite with rooftop balcony over looking ocean. Beautiful to wake up with the amazing ocean view. We want to recognize Juan Carlos he took care if us from day one getting to our room. We had issues with our braclet to get into room he immediately got someone to open room door gave his contact so when we elwere ready after unpacking took us to travel club to get it all fixed. He stayed to ensure all was taken care if and translated for us so they knew exactly what we needed. From that fay on he checked in when he arrived to work, checking on our dinner times and if we needed any rides around resort. But he didn't stop there, in the first few days we were not aware of his sift so contacted him for ride, he was not even working yet and reached out to a fellow employee to get a rude for us. We were not aware till later in our stay his exact hours and he ensured we got rides even if not at work at that time. That truly is going above and beyond. Showed up with a smile we always knew it was him coming as he would pick us up with USA music playing singing along. We recommend him to anyone for assistance. And remember yes all inclusive but for what staff does for us on these vacations tips are so appreciated Juan has 3 beautiful daughters he is working hard for.

We liked the rooftop. At first there were some issues, but thanks to management, they were fixed. Thanks a lot to everyone.
