We went to Lopesan for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. The restaurants were very memorable, the steakhouse and Teppanyaki were our favorites. We paid for the unique package and had Senel as our butler. Senel was amazing and was able to accommodate every request and answer every question we had. All the staff on the resort were very happy and energetic. They frequently danced to the music and interacted with each other in a way that you can tell they are well taken care of and care about the experience of the guests. The bars were all very good and they could make any drink we asked for. The property felt new and clean with a beautiful beach.

This is our second time at Lopesan but our first time doing the unique upgrade. Having the dedicated check in wqs great, and having Senel as our concierge made things so easy. He helped with making reservations and was an absolute pleasure to see on the resort. He really went above and beyond and made the unique experience more than worth it

We enjoyed our time at Lopesan. What made it the best was our Butler, Belnin Soriano. He was happy, kind, professional and met all our needs. He went above and beyond with his customer service. The best butler in Punta Cana! The second person who deserves a shout out is Domingo, the bartender at the Adults Only pool bar. He is fantastic, was always attentive and funny with amazing customer service. The resort is beautiful and very large. The steakhouse was our favorite. The beach and the pools are wonderful. Thank you for making our trip amazing.

I enjoyed my trip to Lopesan mostly because of excellent weather and a very nice beach. The hotel is big with , at least at first, very confusing corridors without clear signs how to get to lobby but once you get used to it , it’s not bad just a lot of walking everywhere. At check in I waited for about 30 min in line. No welcome drinks or assistance with luggage was offered. I was just dropped off by taxi by the front entrance and joined even said “ welcome”. After waiting for 30 min I was quickly checked in by rather rude gentleman who again never welcomed me to the hotel but warned me several times about the extra fees in case I loose my bracelet or towel card ( I haven’t been to hotel with towel cards in many years by the way). I was supposed to get a room upgrade due to my Expedia platinum status but none was offered. Truth be told, I negatively reviewed my check in with Expedia and next day they brought fruit plate and bottle of champagne to my room with the “ we are sorry” note which was nice. Most waiters and bartenders are unhappy looking and occasionally rude even if you tip them( tops are usually not even acknowledged with a “thanks” There is no service at the beach. No one brings drinks, there is no swim up bar and the line at the beach bar is pretty long ( average 5 min to get a drink) because there is only 1-2 bartenders working there. The drinks are served in cheap plastic cups. There is more guests than the sun lounges so get there early to claim yours. I would say by 10 AM you are likely not going to find a nice spot in shade Food at buffet is average resort quality. There is always something to eat and mostly it tastes good but again service is lacking as well as presentation of food. If you have food allergies, beware, food is almost never properly labeled and a lot of times you have no idea what you are eating. These are the negatives, the positives are that the resort is beautifully maintained, the rooms are spacious with large balcony and all the amenities you would need. The beach is clean and the water is beautiful and clear. They clean the seaweed every day so there is none on the beach. Night restaurants are all excellent especially Mediterranean and Italian. French is beautiful but the food is just ok. Stake house is very nice too. My friends went to Mexican and were very impressed by it. The service in restaurants is excellent. The Boulevard is the street in the back of resort with multiple bars, disco, shops, casino and theater. It’s beautiful with multiple seating areas. The theater is probably the best I have seen in a resort with well produced shows with special effects, lights, large screens etc. To summarize , if you go to Lopesan , spend few More hundred dollars and Book Unique part of resort that has better service and better buffet and brand name liquors.
