We travelled to Lopesan for the second time now, we had an amazing experience very relaxed environment, very clean and we got the unique experience twice now because the first time we had a butler he was amazing so we did it again and this time we got a gentleman by the name of Jimmy Sosa. He was amazing, booked all of our dinners and catered to whatever needs we had. Definitely going back for the third time.

Amazing vacation! Senel Delusmat, the whole gang at Unique were just fantastic. Best gym in PC, food was great, resort is great. Cafe Bavaro has excellent coffee. The staff made the trip!

We traveled as 2 adults and a 16 month old. We stayed in a Unique tropical view. The room was a 7/10. It didn’t have a smell, but the sheets felt damp. Our sink and shower also drained slowly. Unique check in was quick, but we also landed later in the evening. We were assigned Jose Antonio as our butler. We requested extra water and snacks a few times, in which he had them delivered to our room. We booked all of our reservations for dinner, except the last night he helped to switch one. Butler service 8/10. He fulfilled our few requests and was quick to respond. Housekeeping was a 4/10, they didn’t always refill the water, didn’t change the bedding (even though we requested), and never left enough bath towels. Waterpark was a 9/10. My daughter enjoyed both sides. The splash pad area behind it, 2/10. All of the tiles were coming up from the ground and it didn’t seem maintained. Main Pool 7/10. It was hard to find seats and the music was very loud. Beach 8/10. We didn’t mind the boats and always found seating in the unique area. YOLO - 10/10. The food was great and the staff was phenomenal, especially Gloria. My daughter was getting antsy sitting and she walked her around and even took her to the ice cream shop. Inari - 6/10. The rice was good, but other than that the food was mediocre. Gondola - 8/10. The pasta was pretty good and the pizza was fresh. El Charro - 9/10. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic, especially Kevin. Main Buffet - 2/10 for breakfast. 6/10 for lunch and dinner. Unique buffet - 5/10 for breakfast and lunch. But service was 10/10 always! The Valley - 0/10. We tried to eat here twice and after 10 minutes of waiting we left as no one came over to our table. Iceberg - 6/10. Nothing fantastic, but good for a sweet treat. Room service- 5/10. Took over an hour and food was just okay. Coffee shop - 3/10. Most days the staff were not friendly and never got our order correct. Overall I would give the resort a 6/10. The staff were amazing, especially towards my daughter, and worked really hard. The resort itself just seemed like it needed renovations in some areas and it wasn’t as nice as other resorts we’ve been to. We wouldn’t likely return.

We stayed at Lopesan Costa Bávaro from December 5–10 with 9 adults and 2 kids, and it was a great experience overall. The resort is beautiful, clean, and very well organized, and it handled a group our size with no issues. The pool and beach were excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed but still lively, and there was plenty for both adults and kids to enjoy. shoutout to Jimmy Sosa our butler— genuinely a good guy who made the experience even better by checking in on us and making sure everything was taken care of. had a great time and would definitely recommend Lopesan Costa Bávaro, especially for families or larger groups
