From the moment we arrived everyone has been welcoming. The resort is beautiful and the staff is so kind. The landscaping and architecture are lovely. The ocean setting is so beautiful and spectacular. Chef Rene, Andrea and Enrique provided us with a special empanada making class. It was great and so delicious and fun for all!
Beautiful, modern stay near Cabo

We loved our stay at Villa La Valencia! We enjoyed clean, modern rooms, good dining options (loved the Pozole!) and the lazy river! One of our favorite places to hang out was near the infinity pool and bar area. Moises was an excellent server there and he made sure we had all we needed! I highly recommend this resort!
Relaxing, Delicious, and Worth Every Moment

I had such a great stay at Villa La Valencia in Los Cabos and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the start, the staff made everything feel easy and welcoming. Everyone was kind, attentive, and always willing to help, which really made a difference throughout the trip. The food was one of my favorite parts of staying here. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and well made, and there were plenty of options so it never felt repetitive. Whether it was breakfast, dinner, or just grabbing a bite during the day, I always looked forward to eating. The comfort of the resort really stood out as well. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable — perfect for relaxing after long days by the pool or beach. The whole place has a calm, luxurious feel without being stuffy. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would absolutely stay here again.
Well Run, Business-like Resort

We had an amazing vacation here. This is a newer, beautifully kept hotel in a quieter stretch just before Los Cabos and a short distance from SAN Jose. Pros -Rooms are spacious and very well maintained, with excellent-quality linens. -Outstanding room service—the best we’ve had. The menu isn’t huge, but everything was fresh and delicious, often better than the buffet. -The lazy river is a standout: fun, safe, and ideal for kids. The water comes up to the shoulders/neck of an average 7-year-old. -With the exception of the adults-only area, all pools are kid-friendly and reasonably safe for confident swimmers—no intimidating deep ends. -The infinity pool view is beautiful. Yes, you can whale-watch from there, and the sunrises are beautiful. -Staff are attentive, warm, and friendly. - Plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, and staff go out of their way to accommodate everyone around the pools. -The steakhouse and Coral restaurant are both very good—well above average for an all-inclusive. Cons This is not a “free frills & whistles” resort: -The kids’ club is not included. It’s more of a babysitting service than an activity-based club and isn’t great for kids over 9 who aren’t into crafts. At $25/hour per child, it adds up quickly. -We’re used to an included sweets/coffee bar. Here, there’s a café/gelato stand that’s not cheap—two scoops each for two kids (four scoops total) came to $55 after a 15% tip and an additional admin surcharge. Watch the surcharges—they’re significant. -Drinks felt a bit transactional. Everything is rung in and signed for, and you need to be very specific when ordering. Even prosecco was measured to the drop. It occasionally took away from that easy, carefree vacation feeling. -The buffet is fine but unremarkable—breakfast is good, but dinner is nothing special. The Italian restaurant is just okay. On a side note, The spa is wonderful—definitely overpriced, but the staff are lovely and the products are high quality. If it fits your budget, it’s a lovely indulgence. We recommend visiting both nearby towns: -Cabo San Lucas is vibrant with excellent restaurants and a lively nightlife. -San José del Cabo is quieter, charming, and still feels quaint while growing. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with an incredible view and a large, comfortable terrace. The hotel offers all-inclusive, half-board, à la carte, and VIP tiers. VIP guests are served first and have reserved seating throughout. We were all-inclusive and truly enjoyed our stay. Overall, a beautiful resort with good service, standout rooms, and great dining—just be prepared for the extra costs. We would absolutely recommend it.
