Loews Royal Pacific Resort will undergo a renovation of its lobby floor from June 9, 2025 through to mid-August 2025. The lobby floor tile will be replaced one section at a time.

Luxury stay that won’t break the bank

Great hotel, large rooms, very clean and tidy, quiet, friendly staff, close to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure with a short, but fun 5 minute boat ride or a 10-15 minute pathway to get there. We ate in Jake’s bar restaurant every night where the food was delicious and the variety of locally sourced beers was excellent. It’s obviously not a cheap hotel, but you get what you pay for and it wasn’t horrendously priced plus you also get a free upgrade to your standard park tickets with a universal express add on, which made our visit to the parks each day really enjoyable. There is also a great little shop where you can buy snacks, drinks etc
~$40 handling and storage fee!

Honestly—everything was looking great. Location great, rooms clean, staff friendly, etc. But we got hit with ~$40 “service and handling” fee to have water and sunscreen delivered. We were not aware of this policy, and clearly would not have done that knowing it would cost $40. It is a convenience we enjoyed at other high-end resorts. The “handling” was simply accepting delivery and moving it 10 feet to storage. It wasn’t delivered to our room. We feel this is an outrageous fee and wish it had been published. It doesn’t seem standard as we have never paid it before. It tainted an otherwise premium experience. I would likely not return here. At minimum—we won’t use this service now that we know.
