Such a great experience with the all inclusive package. The resort had great activities including karaoke, dancing, and a live band. The entertainment team at the adults only pool did a wonderful job with entertaining activities. The service staff were amazing. Every day at breakfast the waiting team of Ignacio, Juan, and Irving did great with being attentive and were so friendly. Durng lunches and dinners, the waiter Miguel also provided great service. Overall, I would recommend this resort with the all inclusive package.
Great week at the Krystal Grand

We just returned from a great week of sun and relaxation at the Krystal Grand. This is our second trip to this resort and we travelled with three other couples. They have made a few nice changes since our last trip in 2022, that being the infinity pool is now adults only and it is much warmer than four years ago which is a great improvement. Check in was smooth but our rooms weren't quite ready as we got there early in the day. No problem, we ate at the buffet and hung out on the beach for a couple of hours. Our room was in the 3000 building. We had a king size bed and a little sunk in sitting area with a couch and table. Bed was firm but comfortable and the pillows were decent. The rooms are showing some wear but they are more than adequate. There was not a lot of storage space in our room and the closet could use more hangers. Our shower was amazing with plenty of hot water and enough pressure to peel off a layer of skin! The only issue with our room was the safe was not working properly. Food was excellent! Lots of options in the buffet and everything had great flavor. We ate at the Ayami and the Grill a la cartes and both of those meals were very good too. The snack bar was awesome and the fish tacos were excellent. The drinks were plentiful although definitely on the weaker side. I drank pina coladas all day and never really felt tipsy. We had paella around the pool one day and it was absolutely amazing. The flavor was unreal! Honestly the only complaint I have with the food would be on New Year's Eve when they had a huge buffet for the entire resort to enjoy. The food itself was great but the whole scene was a little chaotic with how the food was set up. We spent most of our time at the pool and only a couple of days on the beach. Yes, there are vendors on the beach but they don't harass you. A quick no gracias and they move on. You can walk for miles down the beach in either direction but there is quite the slope in the mornings which makes walking more difficult. When the tide goes out in the afternoon it is a much easier walk. There were lots of sting rays and eels in the ocean so I never ventured in. The infinity pool is awesome. it is so warm! The only issue is with the chairs. I got up every day around 6:30 to secure chairs for our group and by that time I'd say 80% of chairs were already taken. I would stay down there and read and enjoy the peace and quiet of the morning. I do bring my own brightly colored towels from home to discourage any stealing of towels. To get a first row pool chair you'd have to be up by 5:00am, I'm sure. There are tons of umbrellas by the pool and plenty of shade. If you want more sun, go to the beach. The entertainment team is fun without being annoying. Salvador is quite funny with his dry wit and flamboyant personality. We went on a group bike ride with Victoria into Bucerias one morning. Music is played throughout the day at the pool but not overbearing. There is not much for evening entertainment which I am fine with as I am an early bird. We did go up to the SKY Bar a few times. This could be a very cool place but there is a serious lack of seating. They could make this into a very neat place with some nice seating, tables and lights. The view is amazing. We did go to the Sports Bar one night to watch the World Junior game. It was quite small and very loud with all the people in it. This resort is a 40 minute walk into Bucerias down the walking trail and through the Decameron. There is an OXXO and pharmacy right outside the resort. We walked into Bucerias one day and had a nice supper at Encore and watched the hockey game. We also spent an evening at Jax's bar watching The Beast. We attended Rhythms of the Night one evening as well. If I have any complaint about this resort it would be the narrow, slippery walkway. Not a deal breaker by any means, just something to be aware of so you don't slip, especially if you have mobility issues. We will definitely be back! I already miss the fish tacos!!
