Convenient comfortable airport hotel

We stayed here for 3 nights as our connecting flight got delayed due to bad weather. We had a double queen room for the 3 of us. It was comfortable. I especially liked how the room was designed to have enough space for 4 suitcases to be put across the bench. Our room had a direct view of the airport. Sheraton also offered us $25 buffet breakfast and h’orderves per person and that was great value. They also have a well equipped gym, heated indoor pool, spa and sauna. It was a very comfortable stay.
Tram station noise

I was here for a brief overnight visit, due to catching an early morning flight from Pearson terminal 1 . The hotel is fine, the rooms are clean, the access to the tram is wonderful. Our room, #434 was just outside the tram station. The constant hum of the power cycle of the tram on and off kept us up all night long, because the tram runs 24/7. Do yourself a favor, and make sure to ask not to be located close to this annoyance
Poor quality management

?We booked a stay at the Sheraton Gateway on November 1, 2025, hoping for a seamless, relaxing night before our flight out of Pearson. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the exact opposite. ?The trouble started the moment we arrived. We were met with a massive line and only one person working the front desk. We stood there for 45 minutes just to get our keys, which is the last thing you want to do when you're preparing for travel. ?Once we finally got to the room, we realized the TV wasn't working. It was the night of the World Series final, and we had been looking forward to ordering some food and watching the game to unwind. We called it in, and a staff member came up to assist. The gentleman who came to help was very nice and was clearly doing his absolute best to fix the issue, but it became clear early on that it wasn't a quick fix. ?Instead of just moving us to a functioning room, management had us sit through two hours of repair attempts. By the time they finally gave up and moved us, the night was gone. We spent our entire evening managing a technical repair and moving our luggage around rather than getting the rest we paid for. ?While I appreciate the effort of the individual staff member, the management should have valued our time more and moved us much sooner. We left the next morning feeling stressed and exhausted. I expected much better service and common sense from a Sheraton property.
Great for tired travelers

We found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable after a long day of traveling. Sierra at the front desk was so kind and efficient and made these weary travelers feel welcome.

This Sheraton is an oasis within the Toronto Airport. It is quite difficult to get to from baggage claim. You need to take a tram when switching terminals, but the signage is not clear about this process. Once you arrive at the hotel, you enter a warm & inviting lobby. While we were here, they had it beautifully decorated for Christmas. Check-in is divided by status, which was greatly appreciated, making the process smoother. The front desk staff was kind and offered us an upgrade to a beautiful, large room with a runway view. The room was clean and came with a variety of amenities. What stood out to us was how quiet the room was despite overlooking the runway. We were also provided with club lounge access, but due to the time and our exhaustion, we were unable to properly enjoy the lounge, pool, or breakfast. We cannot comment on the prices here as we used our Marriott Bonvoy points to book this room. The Sheraton Gateway was our saving grace after arriving at the hellhole that is YYZ. Thank you to the kind staff for making our stay as stress-free as possible.
