Shame about the dirty swiming pool
mirglip (Rockingham, United Kingdom) on Feb 28, 2026
Staff amazing clean rooms .Food ok nothing special . We have stayed hear before but this time we were disappointed . The swimming pool used by all was so dirty there was a layer of oil on the top a large green dirty line around the sides. The steps were a death trap saw a few people slip on them . Such a shame as adult only pool was so clean Think this is the last time we will come back
Reservation

I have stayed here many times and have just booked a package for December. Harriet in reservations has been nothing short of brilliant answering all my questions and arranging this for me. Thank you so much and I can’t wait to stay again later on this year. Everyone who works here that I have met and dealt with are truly lovely people who go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their vacation
SUNBED MAFIA
DeniseQ1313 (County Durham, United Kingdom) on Feb 08, 2026
Arrived at hotel@ 3pm and room wasn't ready until after 5pm. No refreshment offered. Some of the younger staff are very surly, but the older ones are great. The hotel is very clean, food above average for price. However the sunbeds are a nightmare. There seems to be a lot of people who stay at the hotel for 4/5 weeks and think they own the place, even getting up at 6am sometimes didn't secure a sunbed and if you were lucky enough to claim a bed the so called 'regulars' moved to suit themselves, them It was closed shop. Its a shame because it certainly spoilt our holiday as we are sun worshippers. I may add that sometimes the beds were kept for 4 hours before anyone sat on them. Reception and security weren't interested despite notices to the contrary Wouldn't return or recommend
Less than happy restaurant staff
IndySig (Indianapolis, Indiana) on Jan 26, 2026
I’m only rating the Reef restaurant in this review. While the food is good, the wait staff is the worst on the island. They act like you are an imposition and our waitress (several times) T, could not smile if her life depended on it. Bar drinks will probably arrive after you eat and after you have reminded them that you would really like your drink. I realize it’s Island Time but the waitresses are in NO hurry to acknowledge that you have arrived, get your order or bring you the bill. It’s sad, because they have a captive audience, the view is amazing and all of the rest of the hotel staff that we encountered were just lovely. Be warned!
Great Place, Great People, Paradise.

Fantastic beach hotel, not 5 star, but perfect... Great location in between St Lawrence Gap and Oistins and literally on the beach. Perfect for exploring the south coast and catching a ZR to Bridgetown for the rest of the island... Even though we were self catering, the food served at the hotel was delicious. The staff and the hotel owner were lovely and the rooms were huge with a kitchenette, great pool area too with two pools and jacuzzi area.... We loved it here, Barbados is Paradise.
