Having a lovely visit here at the butterfly. We have been many times to the island,first time in this area. Lots of places to walk to and enjoy local food. The hotel is perfect. ?? Harriet and Anne-Marie in reservations made the process perfect. Donna was a real gem at front desk, always pleasant. Cheryl in housekeeping was amazing. Always so pleasant and kept our room spotless. We will be back. Thank you butterfly ??

Small hotel, quite a Caribbean feel. Good size room. Good aircon. Plenty of sunbeds overlooking sea. Good pool. Food only ok. Small breakfast selection but very basic. Don’t try to go in early they don’t like it. The thing that really lets the hotel down is the staff attitude. A couple of people were lovely - especially Yvette and Debra in the bar and Donna on reception - everyone else had a really bad attitude. Made you feel Like an inconvenience and looked like they were utterly bored. On this basis we wouldn’t recommend or return.

Recently I've grown to dislike large impersonal busy hotels and resorts and opting for smaller friendlier properties and this is exactly what I got at the Butterfly beach. Simple but pleasant and very clean and in a decent position between Oistins and St Lawrence Gap, giving you the option to visit either in just a few minutes on the local bus, that stop directly outside. I got a friendly welcome and then went to my lovely large room, that was perfect for my stay, with a huge bed, excellent small kitchen, decent size balcony and nice bathroom with a great walk in shower. The pool although small was never busy and you could always find a lounger either by the pool or on one of the seafront terraces. The star of the property is the restaurant with its excellent view of both beaches at either side of the hotel and the mesmerising turquoise ocean it front, I could sit here for hours with a drink and just watch it. I had many meals in the restaurant on the nights I didn't want to go out and the menus change every night and there was always something enjoyable to choose. By far the best plus point of the hotel are the friendly helpful staff, I have read other reviews saying some staff are unfriendly but I never came across this and I belive you get back what you give, if you are friendly and polite to them they are with you, which was proved by the amount of returning guests i saw being welcomed with hugs. If you want large, flashy impressive five stars with no personality please go somewhere else but if you want comfortable and friendly come here.

Staff was pretty friendly, hotel was clean. It would be nice if they had someone cleaning up beach area from time to time. Restaurant was just ok

Absolutely awesome hotel. Location is ideal. All of the hotel staff were fun & friendly. Food was top notch. I cannot stress how impressed i was with this hotel. Will definitely rebook at some point. Big shout out to Donna(reception),Deborah,John & Shakira(restaurant) and all the otherstaff,whose names i cannot remember.?? Much love.?? We shall return. From Stuart,Joanne & Reuben.(room 402).
