This is a very busy hotel, in the center of Waikiki, which is fine. Our room was very quiet, with a postcard view of the beach. The room was clean and housekeeping very efficient. The only reason it is rated a “4” is the curtains were useless in blocking the morning sunlight. Our room faced East, and the sun shone thru immediately. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay.

We arrived for a trip gang we had been planning for a long time. As we checked in Quili(?) was unable to find our initial reservation. She quickly found it and offered us a much better room with a view. She was so friendly, professional and helpful. Enjoyed talking with her.. then we arrived in our room and it was better than we expected! Highly recommend the location and the amenities! Perfect trip!

Our stays at the Sheraton Waikiki are always exceptional, and this visit was no different. The location is unbeatable. It is right on the ocean on one side and steps from everything the Waikiki strip has to offer on the other. Our suite was beautiful. Waking up to the stunning balcony views of Diamond Head and the endless blue of the Pacific never gets old; it’s truly breathtaking every single time. What truly sets the Sheraton Waikiki apart, though, is the people. The staff across the hotel are consistently friendly, attentive, and kind. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Sonny and the incredible team at the adult pool. They go above and beyond in every way...Their warmth, care, and genuine hospitality elevate the entire experience and are a huge reason we look forward to returning again and again.

Good location with easy beach access, nice clean modern rooms (we booked two connected ones for our family of four) with fantastic views, more so if you get room with diamond head view. Would’ve been a great stay except we’ve learned very quickly that the Sheraton has no control over service quality. Hotel staff was consistently great, front desk, bell, room service and the hotel manager, all super nice and professional) But … they contract with a different company for pool service and beach equipment rentals. With really -like really- different service level than the rest of the hotel staff. We’re old enough to have travelled all over the world and stayed at all sorts of hotels from the very luxurious locations and hotels and quite modest locations and hotels. Never encountered worse service (in the course of a conflict due to their incompetence we got yelled at and threatened -not metaphorically-, along with claims that they lease the beach from the city and they can move and confiscate anyone’s stuff, which I’m sure can’t be legal in Hawaii). But that aside, we had one ask from Sheraton management, to be able to rent beach equipment without having to deal with the person that just attacked us (is it too much of an ask?) The Sheraton management very politely and with great empathy told us they can’t do anything about it because they (hotel pool service and beach equipment rental) are contractors. They offered us $100 to make up for it! Hahahaha I’m cracking inside agin as I recall this. I offered to pay them instead to help me not getting threatened in my vacation. Interpret this review as you will, for me this is not about the terrible conflict management in a service industry, but rather the lack of ability for Sheraton to have any oversight on their constructors for their own pool and equipment rental (no wonder this contractor service sucks) … so 5 stars if you have no plans to use the pool or beach in your Hawaii vacation :) , zero stars otherwise, average rounded up to 3 stars.

Arrived after a long flight from Lis Angelos not offered a drink on arrival not shown to the room either. No water in the room and nothing in the fridge. A bottle is left for you to fill up somewhere in the hall and that is it, it’s like a 2 star hotel very tired, shower curtains not a cubicle tiny bathroom and no hanging wardrobe space, it’s only ok for an overnight stay not a holiday as you will be very disappointed. Not cheap either it reminds me of Costa del sol standard, not good enough for a Sheraton
