terrible experience

I went to the hotel with my family on 21 April. After checking in, I saw the room assigned to us; it did not correspond to the one I had booked; furthermore, it was dark, noisy and smelly. I asked to change rooms, but at the reception desk I was told that the other available rooms were noisier than the one assigned to me. I therefore decided not to stay at the hotel and to go to another hotel. Despite not having slept at the hotel, my credit card was charged for one night. I have written to the hotel's customer service department and Marriott Bonvoy several times to ask for an explanation, but I have never received a reply, even though I am a Gold Elite member.

The success of our annual event, which we have been proud to host with you year after year, is in no small part due to the extraordinary professionalism of your staff. We have consistently been impressed by the level of commitment, attention to detail, and great foresight demonstrated by everyone involved. In particular, the staff's ability to anticipate our needs and proactively address potential issues has been truly remarkable. This foresight has allowed us to focus entirely on our attendees and objectives. The service is consistently outstanding and only seems to improve with each passing year. Please extend our deepest thanks to all your staff. Compliment for Lounge Staff – Christopher & Miguel Christopher and Miguel were attentive, engaging, prompt, and genuinely helpful throughout the morning. Their welcoming approach made guests feel comfortable and well taken care of, setting a positive tone and a great start to the day. They thoughtfully prompted guests before clearing tables and before the breakfast line closed, and ensured that the food was consistently replenished. Their professionalism and attentiveness left a very good impression. Special thanks to Christopher, who was always smiling and approachable, adding a personal and uplifting touch to the overall lounge experience.

One of my favorite hotels in downtown LA

I will certainly be returning to this hotel. Every aspect of my stay was exceptional, from the prime location to the impeccable service to the great rooms with free coffee and water and state-of-the-art gym facilities. I particularly enjoyed the concierge level; the food was excellent, and the staff provided a consistently warm and welcoming atmosphere. A perfect 5/5 experience.

I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles for a weekend trip and had a wonderful experience overall. The only drawback was that the Club Lounge was closed during the weekend, which was a bit disappointing given this was a leisure weekend stay. That said, it didn’t take away from the many positives of the hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, making it easy to get around and enjoy the city. The staff throughout the property were consistently welcoming and attentive, which gave the stay a very personal feel. I’d especially like to commend the wait staff at The District. Their service was thoughtful and genuine, and one lady in particular stood out for her exceptional attention to detail. She truly elevated our dining experience and embodied the spirit of hospitality. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and a perfect retreat after busy days exploring the city. Even with the lounge closed, the combination of the hotel’s prime location, the professionalism of the staff, and the comfort of the accommodations made this a memorable stay. I would happily return and recommend the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles to others.
