Are you missing rewards?
To request credit for flights previously completed, please login on westjet.com, and follow the below instructions:
- Click ‘Sign In’ and a drop down will appear
- Enter your WestJet ID or email address and password
- Click on ‘Hi, YOUR NAME’ and select the ‘View WestJet Rewards Account’ link
- Click ‘Manage WestJet dollars’ on the left side of the screen
- Click the Missing Rewards box
- Submit a new request by selecting the request type
- Input the required information. * Please note that ticket numbers and booking numbers can be found on your boarding pass or confirmation email.
In order for travel to be posted to your account automatically upon completion, you must have provided your Rewards ID on the booking before departure.
Guests have the opportunity to add their IDs during the booking flow on westjet.com, using our web or mobile check-in service 24 hours prior to departure or when using a self-serve check in kiosk at the airport. If this is not done, you will need to submit a missing rewards as outlined above.
Trying to reset your password?
For login issues please follow these steps to reset your password:
- Visit westjet.com/account
- Click 'Forgot ID or password?'
- Enter the email address associated to your WestJet Rewards account
- Then click 'Reset password'
An email will be sent to the address on your WestJet Rewards account with a link to reset your password. If the link is not live, (hyperlink underlined in blue), you may copy it and paste it into a new browser window. This will take you to the same place as the hyperlink would have.
Please note that your password is case-sensitive and that special characters (like %, * and &, for example) are not recognized. We also encourage you to clear your browsing history as this has been known to cause issues for guests who are attempting to log in after resetting their password.
When will the welcome bonus and companion voucher appear in your account?
Once approved for the WestJet RBC Mastercard please allow 4 to 6 weeks after the first purchase transaction date for the welcome bonus to be posted to your WestJet Rewards account.
For WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard holders the bonus includes:
- 250 WestJet dollar welcome bonus
- Welcome companion voucher
For WestJet RBC MasterCard holders the bonus includes:
- 50 Westjet dollar welcome bonus
WestJet dollar accruals will also post into the account 4-6 weeks after the first purchase transaction.
What does qualifying flight spend mean?
Within the WestJet Rewards program you are accruing based on your qualifying flight spend. Qualifying flight spend is the eligible spend (towards the base fare) on WestJet-marketed flights and WestJet Vacations packages during a 12 month period, known as your qualifying year. Partner-marketed flights, taxes, fees, charges, and insurance are excluded from annual qualifying spend.
Having log in issues?
If you are experiencing difficulty logging into your WestJet Rewards account using your email address and password it may be due to your email address being linked to multiple guests accounts, for example family members. If your email address is linked to multiple guest accounts please reattempt to log in using your nine digit WestJet Rewards ID and password instead.
Need help retrieving your WestJet Rewards ID?
If you are unable to locate your WestJet Rewards ID please follow these steps:
- Visit westjet.com/account
- Click 'Forgot ID or password?'
- Under ‘Forgot your WestJet Rewards ID’ enter your first name, last name, and email address
- Click ‘ Retrieve WestJet Rewards ID’
An email will be sent to the address on your WestJet Rewards account. Please note that if your email address is linked to multiple accounts our system will not be able to determine the Rewards ID that you are requesting. Your Rewards ID can also be found in WestJet account update communications.
