Overall it was a great resort, the down side was not enough music in the evenings for dancing, Would definitely be awesome if there was more music for dancing! The pool could’ve had a hot tub on the cooler days that we were here (cloudy and chillier days were had) and the sheets in the bedroom were quite pilled which makes them quite itchy at night and the room on 5th floor smelt a lot like sewage for the most part which was also a downside but overall was a fun time the pros were very friendly people and the gentleman named Braulio made great drinks and made the experience at Melia unforgettable. The food was impressive, they had different themed meals daily for dinner which was great. Definitely was impressed with the tacos at the buffets. Drink options at the bars were great.

Great food, family atmosphere, great service staff, room for improvement on cleanliness. I say that last part because there are often drink glasses in the pool in the morning, Other than that, if you are looking for a place to take a family, it’s a great spot.

Overall really nice stay. Traveled with my 9 month old, 4 year old and husband and it was a great family spot, with lots of other families. Things to improve on: The hot food was a bit oily for my preference, but there were enough options to eat a huge variety of things without having too much of the hot bar. Beds started to feel hard by the last night, but I didn't notice at first. Air freshener in the lobby and public bathrooms could be a bit much (part way through the trip, I think all the air fresheners got recharged and I started to really notice after that), but these were easy enough to avoid. None of these things were a problem, I am just highlighting what was different than my normal lifestyle and personal preferences. There were TONS of options for food in the buffet. Fresh ceviche every day for lunch (YUM!). We had really nice experiences in both of the a la carte restaurants. The staff were so kind and excellent. The pool and beach were great. Definitely recommend this hotel. A number of toys we left unattended went missing pretty quickly, but the hotel can't control the other guests. It was hard to keep track of everything with an excited 4 year old and a baby. Our room didn't have a coffee machine, but we requested one and it came right away!

Excellent service overall specially by Luis Aguilera and Raul. Very memorable for celebrating my wife's milestone birthday. Will definately visit again

Overall great stay. Food was good. Staff attentive. Facilities clean. Rooms are outdated but were clean. Little to no access to charge electronics. Had to move furniture for access.
