Nice resort, great beach location

The resort was very pretty and on a beautiful stretch of beach. We had heard in the past that there had been problems with seaweed accumulating on the beach but we did not experience that at all. The room was clean although it could use some minor repairs but it would not stop us from returning. The coffee we had in the room was awful so we went to CoCo Cafe to get our coffee fix. We thought the staff was exceptionally friendly...Effran at the Rendezvous bar was exceptional! We were greeted everywhere on the resort by friendly staff! Our only disappointment was the quality of the food and maybe we are fussy about our food because we live in the Tri-state area. There was always plenty of food and the wait staff was attentive. There are no reservations required at the restaurants so plan accordingly. All in all, we would go back.

If you want a kid friendly environment, this is the resort to go to. If you want a resort that is gated from the outside of the resort, this is the resort to go to. It cost $95 for a round trip visit to venture out from the resort because you can't get anywhere by walking. It's pretty far off the main roads. I would not waste your money on being a Preferred guest. For an extra $200, you get to go to the Preferred lounge, which is really no different than going to the bar for everyone else. Everything was scattered around the resort. Put your walking shoes on! The best thing about this resort is, the workers are very nice and the food was good.
