Given our frequent travels and experiences at numerous resorts worldwide, it's possible my expectations were too high. During our 14-day stay, the lack of cleanliness was evident - from the pool area to the sunbeds and tables under the umbrella, everything remained unattended and sticky from spilled drinks and food. Furthermore, I suspect there may be a bacteria issue in either the water, food, or elsewhere. Despite years of traveling, this was a first; both my family and I, including two children, suffered from diarrhea. The entertainment team was pleasant, but it seems there are managerial issues. In contrast to other resorts, music played continuously through speakers without the need for a physical presence. Hearing 80s music in Mexico felt out of place; as visitors from the UK, we yearned to immerse ourselves in the rich beauty of Mexican culture and lively music that would uplift our spirits. It would be appreciated to have Mexican music played in the background, even during meals. In our past experiences, prizes are typically awarded during competitions. For instance, at Gran Sirenins in Mexico last year, tequila or coffee was offered as rewards. I suggest having a designated smoking area near the pool, overlooking the sea. While understanding and respecting the necessity of rules, an added smoking location nearby would be beneficial. Though there are more details to convey, my overall impression did not evoke the essence of Mexico. The resort appeared overly Americanized, resembling a retirement home rather than an authentic Mexican retreat. Regrettably, I do not intend to revisit and cannot recommend this particular resort.

I went to this location alone to relax and unwind. The staff were lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spotless. The food at every venue was fresh and tasty. The drinks were delicious. I did a whole lot of nothing and loved every minute.
