Rude staff and poor service. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Very disappointing. Would not recommend and shackled that this is a TUI choice hotel. Would not return. Food basic. Rooms need upgrading and staff uninterested and disrespectful.

We went for my husband’s birthday and to celebrate our anniversary This is a 3.5 star resort at best. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. But there is a lot of lack to detail in terms of cleanliness of the room. I encountered roaches in the bathroom coming in from crevices and holes. The tub was visibly dirty. We were supposed to have 24hr room service but when we tried to get some food before we left for our early morning flight no one picked up the phone. We called multiple times between 12am and 3am no response. We even tried going to the 24 hr snack bar but it was shut down at 430am. We ate mostly from the buffet which was a hit or miss. Food was either undercooked, not heated etc. The Rodeo restaurant had the best meal on the resort and the Asian restaurant was pretty decent but be aware the portions are measly at the specialty restaurants The saving grace was the quietness of the resort. It was not a party resort which was what we needed. We did enjoy their foam party on Saturday. It wasn’t a horrible resort but it wasn’t exceptional definitely not a 5 star. I personally would not return back.

I stayed at this resort from 04/18/24 to 04/23/24 - THE WORST RESORT OF MY LIFE - the food is terrible. I'm not one to make complaints, but this Resort is not even close to 4 stars. I would give 2, at most! DON'T BE FOOLED, DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, unless you don't mind eating the worst food in the world for days! The worst Resort I've ever been to in my life! I came here based on the positive reviews on Google and was really disappointed! This is nothing like what is said in the positive comments, so that I think these comments can only be bought. There are so many negative points that I don't even know where to start. The BEACH IS HORRIBLE! THERE ARE STONES AND don’t have SUNSHADES FOR ALL GUESTS. Many are broken and the hotel doesn't fix them. I had to wait when someone left every day so I could sit on the beach. They don't have snacks during the day, not a cupcake, not a fruit. THEY GIVE THE GUESTS THE LEFTOVERS OF THE BURGERS AND HOT DOGS THAT WERE NOT EATEN AT LUNCH! The food is HORRIBLE! I've never seen worse. THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS IN A BAD MOOD AND THE ASSISTANCE IS MINIMAL. I WANTED TO HAVE LEAVED FROM THE FIRST DAY, but I was going to lose my money, so I didn't go... But it was the same. STAYING AT THIS RESORT IS THROWING MONEY IN THE TRASH! WILL NOT! They don't have bottled water after 10pm in the bars. If you want water you have to call room service which takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to arrive, until then you have to stay thirsty. THEY DON'T HAVE CHICKEN! THEY ONLY SERVE THE WORST QUALITY BEEF AND HORRIBLE FISH. EVERY DAY THE FOOD IS THE SAME -THE PIZZA IS LIKE TRASH. Very different from what is said in the 5 star comments. It's all a lie. Don't trust these comments like I did.THE HOTEL IS ALWAYS DIRTY BECAUSE DISHES WITH LEFT FOOD STAY IN THE HALL FOR DAYS AND NOBODY TAKES IT OUT. It's horrible ,really. The WiFi doesn’t exist here . This review is just a warning, because I felt very sad and I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I went through. I was all excited to come here and I felt very deceived. This resort is horrible. I will never come back here again.

Excellent in every way...food,drinks,service..decor ,beaches...lots to do ,but great place to chill and relax. I loved it all!!..24/7 room service makes it PERFECT0!!

Stayed in one of the swim up rooms on the outer edge of the complex so it was quiet away from the main pool which was more of a party zone with activities and the bar. Mini bar was restocked every day with beers, water and soft drinks free of charge. Everything you need. Could do with a bit of maintenance to walls and door frames but overall can't complain. Room service was perfect, ring them up and the food is there within 45 minutes. Loved the food here. Italian restaurant was a bit suspect, didn't taste like what I've had in Italy but hey ho, I'm in Mexico so what can I expect. Buffet and the grill 10/10. Didn't get to try the other restaurants because they were fully booked/closed during our stay. Drinks were all branded spirits, beers and soft drinks so plenty of choice. No additional charge for cocktails. Tips weren't necessary but guaranteed you got served straight away every time you went back for more so a few dollar bills is a good idea. Bar staff even came by your swim-up room pool and ordered drinks but they expected a tip for this effort. We always got 2 each so we didn't have to go back and fourth often. Beach had lots of loungers in shade or sun with the bar right next to it. Beach always had seaweed all over on a morning but cleared up by tractors quickly. On the beach were a few people selling sunglasses, excursions and massages but not too much of a bother. The on-site shop was expensive, we needed some paracetamol and it was nearly $20 for a packet. Also bring your own inflatable as they were about $50 in there. There were animals everywhere so when in your swim up room, close the door and watch your food/drinks because coaties are sneaky little things and were drinking from the room next doors cups and seen them in a room that housekeeping were cleaning. Water sport area was good - we went paddle boarding and played some pool and table tennis here also for free. We booked an excursion at the hotel from BD Experience to Chichen Itza. Easy to book and logistics were good but due to the travel and the Mayan Village we were taken to on the way there, I wouldn't recommend. We were out from 7am till 9pm. 100% would stay here again in a swim-up room.
