WestJet is proud to be the official airline partner of Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and the CIBC Run for the Cure.

Since partnering in 2013, WestJet has provided the gift of flight to assist in reducing business administration travel expenses and bolstering fundraising activities across the organization. In addition, over the past ten years, WestJet, WestJetters – and their family and friends have raised more than $644,310 towards our commitment of making breast cancer beatable.

The Canadian Cancer Society is committed to improving and saving lives. They are always looking for new ways to prevent cancer, find it early and treat it more successfully. CCS is always ready to help individuals with cancer and provide the support they need to lead more fulfilling lives.

Throughout the month of October, you can find WestJet and WestJetters, along with their friends and families—furry family members participating in the Run in communities across Canada to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society to invests these dollars into ground breaking breast cancer research, compassionate support services, trusted cancer information and advocacy on behalf of all Canadians.

In addition, since 2016, WestJetters have been invited to show additional support by purchasing and wearing custom-designed pink items with 100 per cent of sale price going back to the Canadian Cancer Society. Items can be purchased via the WestJet Store.
