A charming hotel

My experience in the hotel was incredible. I want to highlight the excellent work and professionalism of the reception staff. They provided very good service and hospitality, especially Arlenis Torres. Great job!

Honestly I don't understand who is writing these reviews. The rooms are dated and we can not get clean towels. Had towels on the floor and assumed we would get new towels but found our towels folded and back on the rack. The sockets in the room don't work. One couple in our group had left their phones at the front desk for them to charge. The main buffet is completely unsanitary. The birds have taken over the inside of the eating areas. There could be 100 birds during breakfast. They fly everywhere and land on plates when people get up for more food only to come back and eat off their original plate. They eat the food on the buffet area as well. Bird droppings everywhere. Supper we all lined up to get cold spaghetti due to only have 1 burner that worked. There is no salt or pepper at the tables for your eggs. The Italian was terrible, offered penne noodles with a water down can of tomato soup. Only difference was this came out warm and the buffet noodles were cold. Both you could barely eat it. The 24 hour snack bar was crazy. There serve you either cheeze sandwich or fish sandwich during the day. Nothing else is there. They will serve warm beer poured from a 2 litre pop bottle that was filled earlier from the swim up bar. In the evening they serve no food and only offer beer. The beer was good but they run out of pop by 10pm in the lobby bar so there would be nothing to mix with the house rum. There is no night shows for our stay except the magic show. With only 170 people at this resort during our stay it may because tourism is low or really this because this place should be rated 30 out of 30 all inclusives. I have never been to Cuba before but staying here has resulted in us to never come back. Absolutely amazing and could not give any higher than a 1 star. The bathrooms in the lobby had no soap and the hand dryer did not work. Everyone came out waving there hands in the air. Tried to exchange beach towels but at 9:15am the towel guy was out of towels so we couldn't exchange towels all week on the days we tried. The walk ways were dark since all lights were broken on the way to our room. The only thing i can recommend is Melia close this hotel soon and move employees to the other ones. From Alberta Canada.

Exceptional Hospitality and Genuine Care that brought me back

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Meliá Peninsula Varadero Resort for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. During my first visit, I experienced an issue with my room on the first day. After reporting it to the customer service team, I was truly impressed by how quickly, professionally, and seriously my concern was handled. They took action immediately and relocated me to a much better room, making sure I was comfortable and satisfied. That level of care and responsiveness made a lasting impression on me. Because of my previous positive experience, I decided to return for a second time, and I can confidently say that it was the right decision. Once again, I received an excellent service, outstanding treatment, and a very warm welcome from all the staff, customer service team, the Buffet restaurant and Coffee / Bar Team, the room service team, the wellness center team, the entertainment tram, and the Gardners. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my stay enjoyable! I would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Melia Peninsula Varadero for their professionalism, kindness, and dedication to guest satisfaction. Experiences like this are what turn first time guests into loyal returning customers. I highly recommend Meliá Peninsula Varadero Resort and i look forward to coming back again!

It's an excellent hotel

It's an excellent hotel, the staff are very charismatic and have a great sense of humor, they are hardworking and love their job. The facilities are well-maintained, especially the gardens, and the beach is beautiful. The food is varied and quite good, the lobby is large, and they organize fun activities there. We met the sales team who always treated us well and helped us a lot.
