We visited the Secrets resort the week of January 5. We enjoyed our time here and the beautiful weather. I have listed some of the pros and cons below. Cons We were in room 209 and it was like being on a highway from about 430am till 11pm. Portifino was our favorite restaurant but on the last night so many people cut through to go to the Himitsu where they should rope off where the patio is or people are constantly walking by. Our phone was not working in our room .Considering the hills a problem. Service at the bars was inconsistent especially when you saw large groups come in. Not enough chairs in pool area should place chairs and umbrellas in grass area. Pros Beautiful location Clean rooms Excellent Service at the restaurants with a special mention to Elloy at the buffet and Armondo at Portifino Special mention to Leo , Donald and Victor for bar service. I had an amazing experience at the Secrets Papagayo Spa! Lauren did an exceptional job on both my deep tissue massage and facial. She was attentive, skilled, and made the entire experience incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend booking with Lauren if you’re looking for a truly fantastic massage.

Jennifer did an expert job on the massage and facial. The spot itself is very professional, clean, well appointed, and has complete set of services. The view over the bay is very relaxing.

Beautiful resort with staff that a the most genuine, pleasant people that provide an exceptional experience. From check-in with Harold to cocktails with Ronne at the Revive Bar at Aqua, they treated us, and our puppy, like gold. To say they are pet friendly is an understatement.

Ingrid was my masseuse and was very professional. We did the 50 minutes but needed more time since it was so perfect. The best relaxing massage ever
