We stayed for three nights over the New Year holiday (Dec 30-Jan 2) and had a picture perfect view of Times Square and the ball drop from the 38th floor. Valet, reception, and housekeeping were all extremely hospitable. The location is not only perfect for exploring Times Square, but is also in walking distance to Radio City Music Hall, The Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue, and many other attractions. The Marquis Theater is located within the hotel and is currently showing Stranger Things. I am very picky when it comes to hotels and hotel rooms, specifically regarding the level of care that is taken for upkeep and I also hold a high standard for cleanliness. Our hotel room was immaculate. We check our bed before settling into any room and our bed was perfect. The bathroom/shower and sitting area were also very clean. It is obvious that there is attention to detail when it comes to cleaning and that this hotel is well-managed and taken care of. The restaurant onsite, The View, had perfect views of the skyline and delicious food. My husband had the ribeye and I had the filet. We also had the crab cake, potatoes, macaroni, and then cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was amazing! There was a pianist throughout our meal and the restaurant floor revolved to give us different views of the city as we ate. This hotel more than surpassed my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and had zero issues. It is a perfect choice for any tourist/visitor and offers multiple amenities, comforts, and is perfectly festive during the holiday season. I can’t wait to come back!!!!

Un hotel meraviglioso, dentro Ti es Square, dalla camera si vede perfettamente tutta Times Square, tutto perfetto: camera, colazione, pulizia, servizi, ascensori, tutto top. Ci tornerò sicuramente con la famiglia appena potrò. Complimenti ?????????? A wonderful hotel, right on Times Square. The room had a perfect view of all of Times Square. Everything was perfect: the room, the breakfast, all the service. the elevators—everything was top I will definitely be returning with my family as soon as possible. Congratulations!

The hotel and staff were so friendly, the hotel is in the heart of times square and broadway. This was ok for what we wanted this time. However we would not stay in times square again as to busy.

Stayed for 10 nights . House keeping does a great job. Unsure about the service culture in this part of the globe but generally staff at the front desk and service call number 55 from the room etc sound a little rude. Felt unemphatic and there is no concept of warm service ….very curt and generally get angry when we don’t understand their accent while speaking and show a disgruntled attitude. Location is absolutely bang on Times Square. A very busy season …probably the staff are over worked Ordered a bottle of wine and was not informed that it would take more than an hour..when called after 40 mins the staff says as if it’s not their problem that room service is taking more than an hour. Usually it’s basic courtesy to inform guest that it’s taking more time than usual. On another occasion they just dumped the food order and ran away…no cutlery ,salt pepper etc..

I was at the Marriott in New York this past week to celebrate my birthday, and despite a very rough start to the trip, the experience turned out to be absolutely amazing thanks to the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, the views of Times Square were stunning truly breathtaking and exactly what you hope for when staying in NYC. But what really made this stay unforgettable was the kindness and care shown by the staff. A very special shoutout to Junior at the front desk. After a long and frustrating day of travel including multiple flight issues and my airline losing my luggage he was so sweet, patient, and genuinely kind. He could tell I had a rough birthday arrival and went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and cared for. When I returned to my room the next day and found wine, cheese, and sweets waiting for me, it completely made my day. That thoughtful gesture turned everything around and reminded me that kindness truly matters. I wanted Junior to know how much his compassion and attention meant to me it made my birthday feel special after such a difficult start. The entire staff was amazing, professional, and warm throughout my stay. This experience is exactly why great hospitality stands out. I will absolutely be back. Thank you, Marriott, for turning a stressful birthday trip into a memorable one.
